My experience with this dentistry has been very upsetting. While the dentists and hygienists and most of the staff are pleasant . Their front office staff has no idea when it comes to billing. I was charged $134 out of pocket cost for my fillings. Which was expensive in itself. I told them I would like to bill the insurance first before I pay for that much. They said no I had to pay or I couldn’t be seen. Ok I paid. Then my bill from my insurance comes in. My out of pocket costs for the procedure was supposed to be $25. So they over charged me $109?! I called several times and tried to reach out to the manager . No response nothing. You call and the office is “busy” never available . The customer service reps will send an email to the manager but will she respond? Probably not. I have been a patient here for over 18 years and just recently this practice has gone to absolute garbage. I will be requesting my medical records and filling a formal better business bureau complaint and a formal dispute with my bank. This is absolutely ridiculous . I don’t have an extra $109 to be handing out. I will be coming in person to sort this out. ***** Update as of 11/21/2025 Had an in office visit. I had to come in person to get a refund of only $46 because my payment split between my family account. The receptionist stated that the family now owes me the remaining. This is a headache in itself. We will see how this visit goes but I’m going to be searching for a new dentist

Went for a cleaning. After getting X-rays was told needed some extensive deep cleaning that cost $1186 insurance will not cover. Told them I can’t afford that to just do a regular cleaning but she refused to do it said could do something else for $329 but still not covered by insurance. Gave me a treatment plan which included tooth 30 for a root canal and crown. Never had trouble with that tooth until y’all started working on it, now it’s been nothing but trouble. I’ve already had two root canal done on it (wasn’t charged for the second one) and a crown. Now I need another root canal for $1609 on this tooth and remake a crown (no charge) to fix problem that was not fixed right the first time. I am single and live off Social Security and cannot afford your services. Don’t even know how much I have spent with y’all at least $7000 or more not including what insurance has paid you. Looking at this treatment plan I was given the total cost is over $10000!!!😮 Still didn’t get my teeth cleaned because she refused to!

I've been terrified of the dentist due to past trama, but I can truly say Dr. Cumberbatch has truly calmed my fear. Dr. C is knowledgable and cares about his patients. If you're looking for a great dentist choose him!

Update 11-9-25: I decided to call the office and ask directly why they do not offer IV sedation when they advertise they do. The only response the poor lady in the call center could get was "they only do it for oral surgery." She couldn't provide any other information. Basically oral surgery encompasses everything from basic tooth extraction to implants and beyond (implant is what my husband was looking to get). So once again, what they advertise is not what is offered. Expect to pay before you are even seen. They bring patients to a billing area before your appointment rather than after which is something I have never seen before with a dental office. We have a word for all this: fraud. I am growing tired of businesses using cheap websites to advertise inaccurate information and then defrauding people with it. I do not recommend this dental practice. Do not waste your time or money here. Original review: Please think about it before making an appointment here. Their website states that they do IV sedation. The dentist my husband saw said they do not. While the dentist was nice, she didn’t seem like she knew what to do when my husband explained why he needs full sedation for oral surgery. It was a worthless visit, we paid out of pocket so essentially the office made free money. It was a frustrating experience. On the upside the staff was very nice but that’s the only positive point of the visit. If they do not offer full sedation they need to remove this claim from their website.

My experience at this facility has been mixed. I appreciate the availability of various dental specialists. I have undergone wisdom tooth extraction and multiple fillings, both of which were handled commendably by different dentists. However, my experience with the initial dentist for cleanings and a second set of fillings was unsatisfactory. When I requested a change of dentists, I was informed that I needed to remain with my assigned practitioner. During my second set of fillings, the dentist declined to proceed due to elevated blood pressure. I explained that I experience anxiety in medical settings, a condition my primary physician has identified as "white coat syndrome." Despite this, the dentist required a medical clearance. Given my two jobs, rescheduling was challenging. Upon returning with the necessary clearance, the procedure was completed. This was not a positive experience; I recall a metal band being placed in my mouth, and I experienced discomfort from drilling on my lower jaw as I was insufficiently numb. The dentist's demeanor was also less than amiable, with communication limited to essential instructions. Subsequently, during a visit for a cleaning, I was informed of understaffing and that a suitable practitioner needed to be located. At that point, I decided to leave. In summary, I value the diverse specialties offered by the practice, which provides convenience. However, I am dissatisfied with the requirement to continue treatment with a dentist with whom I was not comfortable.
