- SWShauntrell WilliamsMar 8, 20231.0The staff, absolutely amazing!!! The doctor—unprofessional and snarky. When I informed Dr. Kar of my need to transition to a closer practice due to the hour commute, I felt unheard. She was more so trying to get me to stay by offering veneers for the third time which I’ve rejected, she also suddenly offered Invisalign which due to prior conversations I had—it was best to keep on my braces and see my treatment through. This would mean new X-rays, sculpting, ordering trays and still essentially returning to her which again is a hour commute when I have another location 7 minutes away from where I live. I’m 2 years into treatment with braces braces, I felt it was unnecessary at this point to switch to Invisalign so late in my treatment plan, so I declined. She randomly stated she wanted to try something and to file my teeth (bottom row) and I DON’T have overcrowding…but “I” requested to straighten, not file….now my “small” teeth are thinner and are now shaped unnaturally. Her actions felt vindictive and conversation thereafter practically confirmed that for me. I am very unsatisfied with her as a person, she was condescending and even berating me in the most inappropriate delivery with her educational status/background as grounds for why I was wrong. My braces are paid off, I literally just go for adjustments and hadn’t had any issues with my bottom row for the past 6-7 months…and now she’s created new gaps from thinning my teeth—prolonging treatment with her in efforts to “try” something new when I made it very clear that I was leaving her location/practice. She even said, “oh, I didn’t know you were leaving” HUH???? That’s the first thing I said!!! I absolutely do not recommend this doctor none whatsoever.
