I’ve been coming to this office for nearly six years and have never had an issue—until now. In the past, the doctors and reception staff have always been polite, welcoming, and professional.
At my recent visit to renew my contact lens prescription, I saw a doctor I hadn’t met before (a woman with red hair). Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely uncomfortable. She came across as very passive-aggressive and informed me that I had an infection in my right eye. I’ve always worn Acuvue Oasys lenses, and she explained that they are very lubricated and that, since I’m not always great about taking them out, she recommended switching to a different brand.
However, once payment was taken, she handed me the same brand she had just told me she would not recommend. She continued to “un-recommend” them while simultaneously trying to sell them to me, which was incredibly awkward and confusing. Given that she had just said they weren’t helping my eye infection, this interaction made me feel very uncomfortable and unsure of the guidance I was receiving. I ultimately left with the brand she initially recommended, based on her medical advice.
When I returned to pick up my contacts, the front desk staff was again passive-aggressive. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming—staff members simply stared as I walked in, as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. The office no longer feels warm or inviting and has lost the family-like hospitality it once had.
My mother also recently visited and had a very similar experience. Sadly, after years of loyalty, they’ve lost two long-time patients because of these interactions.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Best of luck moving forward.

My husband had an appointment but had a very long wait while the staff took walk-in traffic. He complained about this but Pearle wanted him to continue to wait. My husband fired them & can’t get them to stop sending unsolicited marketing emails. Pearle is also too expensive.

Eye Dr - very much recommend.
Opticians - definitely do not recommend.
Very pleased with the eye doctor and would use him again; he was exceptionally professional and pleasant. I REALLY appreciated that he didn’t fly through the vision testing like other eye doctors have (not giving you time to decide which setting actually improves your vision). On the other hand, the assistant/s definitely needs a good bit of coaching on customer service and attitude. Tech wouldn’t listen to me when I had something important to ask before we even started or during - her response was dismissive and also incorrect. What I was saying literally impacted what testing needed to be done. She also did not sanitize the places my face would touch chin on the equipment.
Pearle’s eyewear people (separate company??) with the exception of the man who had been on a call, all had awful customer skills. None of them wanted to be there and it definitely showed! Eyewear choices were much better than before. Needing to spend $1k on one pair of glasses (on sale!) combined with their dismissive rude attitude means next time I’ll buy the glasses from someone who can at least be pleasant.

Let me start with a positive, Dr Angela Lee is outstanding. Her ability to develop rapport and trust with her patients is outstanding. She is very skilled, knowledgeable, comprehensive, and most importantly kind. I would rate her a 5/5
As for the staff at the center I was merely number and someone to process through as quickly as possible. The technician that administered most of the test was not outwardly rude but her dismissive and uncaring attitude towards me made me feel uncomfortable and frankly if I was not going to see Dr. Lee I would have politely declined further interaction with this person. Rating 2/5 Other sales Staff I engage with briefly were generally helpful and just doing there job. I was impressed with the level of technology they offer to their clients. 3.5/5
