  Staff is friendly and very sweet, but I had a bad experience with one of the physicians that ruined the entire experience. I’ve been with them for almost 3 years. Rude, snappy, and always seemed like I was an inconvenience. Being a young woman, I expected to have a connection with those that went through similar challenges. But when it came to mental health, menstrual cycles, and overall physical health, I was constantly talked over and made to seem like I was being dramatic. Very inconsistent with care - saying things cannot be done when they already have done it for the same reasons I’ve been there for years, which is now suddenly a problem. I never felt comfortable sharing private information due to how snippy they could be. The information I did give wasn’t noted at all. I wasn’t asked to explain or why I felt this way - no type of checkups. I would explain, then I would be labeled. No effort at all. Forms that said “explain” were written with one word only, making a simple process overly difficult. When I said the institution informed me it needed to be more detailed, the response was annoyance. I was even cut off on a phone call and told it’s “straightforward” and that there’s “nothing that can be done,” when all that was needed was them to write more than one word. The institution asked for more details and the physician refused to give any. I would look elsewhere.

  I left my Dr of 12 years to go to Ximena Barnes practice. I left because I felt like I was unheard and that things were getting missed in my healthcare. Upon seeing Ximena she quickly found that multiple things had been missed and I was taking duplicate medication’s. She has helped get me back on track helped me feeling better both physically and mentally and I would highly recommend my husband and I both love this practice. I have even switched my daughters to her. 10/10 recommend.

  So thankful for this practice! I was seeing another doctor for over 10 years and after many missed things and just the lack of caring about their patients I decided to leave. NP Ximena Barnes has been a lifesaver! My whole family is now seeing her. She’s thorough and cares about her patients. So thankful I switched to her!

  I've been going here for about 3 years now, and this year has been nothing but excellent service from them. They answer any questions I may have every visit, and are just very kind people overall.

  my visit at IM PEDS was great from start to finish! The ladies at the front desk started off my experience with a kind greeting. Front desk staff set the tone for new patients and they were exceptional! I saw NP Barnes and she was kind, knowledgeable, and listened. She was thorough in everything we discussed. For the first time, I felt heard and action was taken - resulting in a better quality of life for myself. I can’t say enough great things!
