- KAKema ANov 6, 20251.0This Hinesville location is completely unprofessional and misleading. I never received my eye exam after being told multiple times it would be done on-site. Completed an eye over a month ago. Instead, I was given nothing but excuses and the constant runaround. The staff “claims” you can complete your exam at the location, but once payment or scheduling is done, they fail to deliver or follow through. When I tried to make a complaint, they gave me a fake number another tactic to avoid accountability. It’s unacceptable and unethical, especially being located right next to an Army base where many Soldiers and families rely on honest service. Stanton Optical should be ashamed of how they treat customers and should not continue to prey on service members or anyone seeking legitimate care. It’s unacceptable for a business located so close to a major Army base to treat customers, especially service members, in this manner. I sincerely hope Stanton Optical takes action to improve their integrity, communication, and overall customer experience so others don’t go through the same frustration.

When I got the glasses, it was so blurry unless I look dead straight. So I went back and they tried to charge me an additional $60 and Charity is going to have the audacity to tell me when I was there previously that money wasn’t an issue. We’re in hard times right now and to say that to someone and you don’t know their circumstances is crazy. Money wasn’t the issue. I do have a problem being charged an additional amount to fix a mistake they made. It ain’t right. Then she tried to blame it on the strength of my prescription, I’ve never had a pair of glasses that were blurry and I couldn’t see like that. People get glasses to see clearly not more blurry. Then she wanted to have an attitude cause she knew she was wrong. Definitely don’t recommend and if you do go mind what they do. Cause she was being shady and I could tell even more when I came in today.
