- BHBarbara HatcherNov 13, 20251.0I was seen by Dr. Owens for a crown. He was preparing the tooth for the crown and accidentally drilled into my tongue which was very painful. Blood was pouring down. He was able to stop the bleeding but I had a bruised area on the side of my face for days afterward. The next week I noticed a sharp point on my Marilyn Bridge. He had drilled into my Bridge damaging it. When my tongue came in contact it was so painful and I had to go back to him to see if he could do anything to smooth the sharp edge near my gum. His assistant drilled the sharp edge trying to make it smooth. She had to stop stating she was afraid she would damage the tooth. I learned later from my dentist that I have been seeing for years that the Bridge is loose and I will most likely have to replace it. I have to live with the damaged bridge everyday which keeps my tongue irritated from the sharp edge. I would not recommend Dr. Owens.

I got a deep cleaning and my hygienist was surprisingly gentle considering It was a deep clean. It's obvious Doctor Owens has a lot of experience so I wasn't worried. I definitely recommend Cornelia Dental.

Mary was our hygienist and very professional, friendly, and did a great job cleaning and x-rays, taking time to explain and show pictures. Front Office staff was friendly and helpful!

Will update after tooth extraction, Oh and they have Nitrous.. Tks to All.. 4-4-2022 2nd time there, quick, easy. 2 teeth pulled. Bill was under quote.. Dr. Owen's was awesome the staff was great.
