They require x-rays every six months in order to receive a basic cleaning, even when previous x-rays were recent and unnecessary. These x-rays are not covered by GT dental insurance and are instead billed through student health fees. When I asked why they were needed again, the hygienist was condescending, and the cleaning that followed was rushed and incomplete.
There is also very limited availability for cleanings, while procedures like fillings can be booked next-day. My cleaning was scheduled two months out and then rescheduled twice, supposedly due to hygienist availability, but it was clear that appointments were being shifted to prioritize more expensive procedures.
It is disappointing that this is the primary dental provider GT students are directed to, as it seems more focused on maximizing use of student health fees than providing quality care. Even the phone number listed to “resolve concerns” does not connect to the office itself, but to a call center.

Horrible predatory business. Preys on students and charges them exorbitant amounts. Sends bills to collections without telling you owe them anything. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

I first came to this place for a teeth removal emergency, which was taken care of but super expensive. Later, I want to schedule a cleaning appointment, and they insisted to sell me $1000+ deep cleaning rather than the regular ones. I am a doctoral student at Georgia Tech, the exact place this dentistry is at, and, needless to say, I would bankcrupt if I choose deep cleaning. I explained my situation and asked for the regular service, which was completely denied. I felt 0 level of understanding, which you would expect at a caregiving facility.
Given my knowledge that this place feeds mostly on Georgia Tech students, who have similar financial situations and insurance plans like mine, I wouldn't recommend it to any of my peers, and I sincerely hope it leave this campus. Based on my experience, I personally do not understand how this place has such a high rating. I guess the recommendation and search-boosting algorithm is working out well for them.
