If I could leave no star I would.
The app showed time slots available all day, but whenever I’d hit any time the app would say it encountered an error. No big deal, I figured I’d stop and see if they could squeeze me in on the way home from work.
I show up at 6:10, not a soul in sight. Nobody in the front, no signs of life but I can hear what sounds like a loud movie. I see a sign that says “if we are not there to assist you, we are assisting another donor. Please wait and we will be with you in a few minutes.” Okay, not an issue. I write my info on the sign in sheet, fill out a donor sheet, and take a seat.
5 minutes go by and I hear signs of life, I start ringing the bell they have at the desk. Nothing. Another 5 minutes go by, I ring the bell again. 10 more minutes, I ring the bell a bunch more. 5 minutes after that I hear closer voices and a women leaves, so I figure they just couldn’t hear me since they were with that donor. Fine, it’s late I assume only one person is there. I see the employee walk by the door so I start ringing the bell again. STILL NOTHING.
After another couple minutes I just walk back there because I also drove straight from work and desperately have to use the bathroom. I ask a male worker where the bathroom is and then the female worker also seems confused I am there. I go to the bathroom, leave, she asks if I’m there for to donate. YES ? Why else would I be there. I also take note that they have a camera that directly shows the waiting area for these employees to see back there the entire time. She tells me it’s too late to fit me in, to which I say well I’ve been waiting for 30 MINUTES and could they have fit me in at 6:10. She said yes. 😐
Absolutely unacceptable, I would understand if only one person was working but nope, two people were and to not even acknowledge the camera, me ringing the bell, anything for that long is absurd. Maybe turn down the SUPER LOUD volume on the movie you’re both so clearly fixated on instead of doing your jobs. No wonder people don’t want to donate blood nowadays when this is what happens when they try 😤🤬

Chloe, you completely wasted my time.
Made an appointment at 10:30 on Friday, came in and I didn't realize that I needed to tell them a shot name because I went to the ER last weekend and got a shot.
They need to know what it is, so I was trying to log in to MyChart to find out because I don't remember. I told Chole to give me some time. I’m trying to get the information while she makes a new appointment for another day (she offered to make a new appointment for me). Without knowing that she already put in the system that I can not donate blood today.
Why didn't you tell me that I can't donate today since you made me a new appointment? Let me sit and trying to get my information for you and when I get it you told me I can not donate blood today. All was wasting my time.
