- LZLynnsey Zolnierowski4 days ago3.0I had a positive lasik experience here with Dr Fox. He walked me through each step and the surgery was so fast. If I left the office and gave a review, it would have been 5 stars. However, my concern is with what happens after lasik. Since this is not an eye clinic with doctors on hand, there is no one that can really help you with post lasik issues. I came in with an issue about a week after surgery and saw who I assume is an ophthalmic nurse. She looked at my eyes and told me the lasik looked good and assumed I had a viral conjunctivitis. She gave me new drops in case my old ones were contaminated. However, I was surprised when she said if my symptoms worsened, I needed to go see an eye doctor. I thought I’d be able to see one here. You never see your surgeon again unless complications with the lasik itself. I ended up following up with another eye and laser clinic where the doctor I saw also performs lasik. This is the experience I would have preferred - where you can see your ophthalmologist directly and be seen for any issues in house and not sent elsewhere. If I could do it again, I’d do it at a clinic like the one I mentioned. However, despite the issue I’m having with recovery, the lasik looks good and my vision is great. I just would have had a better and more holistic experience elsewhere.
