  I generally am in the gallon a year donation range, but after today's treatment I think I'm done with that. Today I was 15 minutes late to my appointment time of 1:30 pm. The girl behind the desk told me they close at 2 pm, but she would squeeze me in. A black male whose name I believe was Andre, came from the back of the business and asked if I had an appt., I told him "yes", but I had run a few minutes late. He just looked at me and then at the girl behind the counter and walked away. After filling out the paperwork and the computer. The girl called him to the front. He walked back up front and glared at the girl. As he was looking at her he pointed to his watch. After seeing him do this, I asked him if he wanted me to leave. He stated "we close at 2pm and an appointment takes approximately 30 minutes. I told him if he didn't want me there I would leave. He just soon there staying at me. I am baffled, does your organization not pay their employees for their time, or is it your employees don't get any sort of customer care training. Your board at the facility indicates there is a shortage of blood, however your employees don't seem to care about that.

  Great experience donating blood! Yolanda was my phlebotomist, and she made the process smooth and comfortable from start to finish. She was gentle, professional, and very friendly, which really helped put me at ease.

  Used to donate here frequently. They now have completely new staff. New girl hurt and bruised my arm (which made me ineligible for subsequent donation ), the young man working there had long dirty fingernails, and none of the three soap dispensers contained any soap. Would think a place taking blood donations should be more hygienic.

  Depends on the staff member you deal with. Siam was professional and sweet. The time before this one, RICHARD was the staff member I had to deal with. His complete lack of respect and very very poor customer service skills almost made me never return. Had he been the one I was forced to deal with this afternoon, I'd have walked back outside. SAIM saved the donation. There are a few workers who just don't like their job. It's obvious from their attitude. DONATING blood is vital to our fellow humans - but just like any job - there are individuals who should find something else to do with their lives. Happy to donate - very happy with my interaction with Siam. SHE'S the reason for all 5 of my stars!
