Started with great expectations going in but soon worn down with the exam. The doctor stretched my mouth to look inside aggressively and split my lip in the corner. Things happen I know but I thought it was unnecessary to pull that hard. He said the xray showed bone loss and I had plaque build up. Of course I was there to have my teeth cleaned. He ask, do your gums bleed when you brush? I said no. He said everything else looks ok. Then the hygienist came in and ask how long has it been since I have been to the dentist like 3 years? I said 5 months! Then he touched each tooth with a tool acting like he was probing however it there was no probing only a gentle touch on the tooth. I was confused as I have had my teeth cleaned for 30 years regularly and had no idea what touching the tooth with a probe did. Then he gave me advice and said I have plaque on my teeth. I explained again I’m here to get them cleaned. At checkout they said I needed a deep root planning and scaling. I ask them how they came to that conclusion. They brought the doctor and he said the bone loss in the xray. The bone loss was from 30 years ago and I have no bleeding gums, no redness or inflammation and no pockets. You didn’t even probe to check. The doctor said I could get a second opinion. What he didn’t know is that he was my second opinion. The other dentist gave me a thorough examination and agreed that I was fine. So I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning with the first opinion. Upselling with a poor quality examination and unnecessary aggressive handling by the doctor was a horrible experience. I gave them 1 star and I’m not sure why.

I do not recommend this Dentist Office to anyone looking for Professional or safe care. They have shady business practices. I came in for a regular cleaning in 2019 and they performed a deep cleaning instead without properly explaining what that entailed or explaining that it was a much more expensive 2 procedure process for them. They then forced me to come back for the 2nd procedure stating that it would ruin the health of my teeth if I did not. I then came in for a crown in 2025, had the procedure, and paid in full. They then started sending me payment needed notices months later for additional charges that popped up after the fact. I have later come to find out that the Dentist who put in my crown this year is operating on a license that expired last year in 2024, Lauren N Scarborough.
