The food was unhealthy. Fruity pebbles, croissants, pizza every week that was mandatory. Therapists are awful. And clients fighting all the time. Behaviors everywhere. Worst place I ever went and I’ve been everywhere.

It is vital to get the best care for your loved one who is suffering from an eating disorder. Eating disorders can destroy not only the person suffering, but entire families. This facility is not the place. Do not waste your time with Monte Nido Miami. I’ve had 2 experiences with them now and both times the results left us starting over again. If I listed the reasons in detail it would be too long for a review. The most important thing is to get your loved one help and Monte Nido only provides false hope and excuses as to why they failed. It is not a program that focuses on each individual. They are cold, uncaring and treat their patients like cattle. It’s a get them through and get the next one place. Monte Nido Miami will only add to your suffering and make you feel like your family doesn’t matter. Please go elsewhere if you want real help!

How dedicated the staff is. Also, the groups were really amazing I felt really close to the people here. There is really so much I could say. My individual sessions were amazing and super helpful. Ellen helped me understand a lot of different aspects of my life. My eating disorder obviously but also substances, but most importantly helped me understand my overall outlook on life. I didn’t realize how much I was limiting myself in my life. The process groups were my favorite groups, I really got to get to know others that way. Also the RCs were amazing like Jess and Eve and Lanice and Lori. Love y’all thank you for my life back and giving me hope 4 the future. Can’t thank y’all enough.
