I have been donating blood for awhile. I will no longer go to oneblood. I arrived half an hour early for a platelets donation because they have a lot of paperwork. My paperwork was done by my appointment time but they still didn't poke me or even have the machine ready until 50 minutes later (I wasn'twaitingfor someone either) . They refused to use my non-dominate arm even when I have pain after and it effects my work. Then what I was told to be a 2 hour process took 4 hours. And to top it off whenever I ask questions about how the machine works or what the actual difference is between all the donations, none of the techs have any idea. And I caught the tech running the platelets machines use the same gloves for different patients. They also throw blood filled tubes in the plain trash.
