  Oliver Oco Provided PT Therapy to me following cervical neck fusion surgery at Mayo in December and following lower back back L4 fusion in March. Oli was outstanding. I really like that he explained the “Why” Behind each of the exercises he provided to me. Also, he demonstrated them well and kept me on a nice pace. I am now back to full speed 8-9 months after the surgeries

  My general practitioner sent me to this location of Brooks rehab rehabilitation after discovering that somehow I had bursitis, tendinitis, and arthritis in both my shoulders and biceps. Following further evaluation by the physical therapist, Rachel Jeffries, that was assigned to my case… I began rehab three days a week for 12 weeks. I was assigned at home exercise exercises and stretches to do as well as see the therapist three days a week in the office. You would think that the exercises and stretches that you were doing to heal your body become easier overtime, but for me, the exact opposite happened. This is not doing anything wrong. It is because I was pushing myself too hard! Rachel was a wonderful PT! Very knowledgeable and very caring in what she was trying to heal and teach me how to heal myself! She was meticulous while determining the range of motion that was increased through her help and also in researching ways that I could continue to improve while at home! While I was under the care of Brooks rehab, I never once walked into my sessions to see that they were overbooked or understaffed! Each patient received personal one-on-one care from their therapist! Rachel was always attentive and ready to correct anything I was doing incorrectly or that could be detrimental to my healing! After 12 weeks, I was released to go back to work with good improvement in both shoulders and my biceps, but not long after I returned to work I had to have rotator cuff surgery on both of my shoulders! Post surgery I absolutely would’ve returned to Brooks rehab, but I took the easy way out and used the physical therapy team that was attached to my doctor’s office at the hospital! Either way, I would highly recommend the team at Brooks Rehab! They provided some of the best physical therapy care that I have ever received!

  I worked with Oli to fix a shoulder problem. He was very helpful and I had significant improvement during my 12 sessions. Recommend Julington Creek if you have rehab needs.

  My experience at Brooks Rehab in Fruit Cove was exceptional! Dr. Joe Maisano was thorough, professional, patient and supportive. He always took the time to explain the purpose of the exercises and answer my questions. He made this experience in my health journey successful and enjoyable. Thanks, Joe, you’re the BEST!

  Brooks Rehab at Julington Creek provides outstanding care. The facility is clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The physical therapy team is highly professional, and the front desk staff is always helpful with scheduling and billing. The waiting area is comfortable, and the restrooms are consistently clean. I’d like to give special recognition to Joe Maisano, PT, DPT. Joe developed a tailored rehabilitation plan that effectively resolved my injury and allowed me to return to daily activities pain-free. Beyond the exercises themselves, Joe took the time to explain how each movement targeted the injured area and why it was important for improving strength and flexibility. Those teaching moments made a huge difference in both my recovery and my understanding of how to prevent future issues. Highly recommend Brooks Rehab at Julington Creek!
