  I arrived at 2:50pm with my 8 year old for a 3pm appt and wasn’t seen until around 3:45pm. My son and I were called to the room where the MA (blonde with tie die crocs) checked my son’s weight, height and blood pressure, my son was a bit scared about the blood pressure cuff getting too tight and she yelled “what are you scared of!” Definitely not kid friendly. Dr Hagley I believe his name is came into the room about 15 mins later, no apologies for being almost an hr late, proceeded with visit, assessed my son then exited room where my son and I waited for another lengthy time. I grew frustrated exited the room and asked what’s the hold up, I was fed some BS etc, MA came to room shortly after with end of visit summary, prescription for medication and an order for a chest xray, none of which were explained to me by Dr Hagley. Again, I was quite frustrated and mentioned “I didn’t bargain to spend two hours at this doctor’s office”, the MA again fed me some bs basically said they just reopened and that they have been slammed all day!! Not sure how this is my problem. I was furious!! Because almost two hrs at this place is absurd and at no point in time anyone kept me in the loop of the plan or wait time!! So yes the customer service is terrible, the wait time is lengthy! Like you’d have to have almost no plans that day! And Dr Hagley could have been a bit more thorough with his plans and explanations instead of sending his MA to do all the explanation, since you know Id have questions that the medical assistant would not be able to answer. Overall, I would not recommend this practice. My child was miserable sitting their for almost 2 hrs. Funny how their late policy is “if patients are 10 mins later they have to be rescheduled” but my son and I walked in at 2:50pm and didn’t leave until 4:40pm, no respect for people’s time!

  When we initially took my daughter to see Dr Khalik, i didn’t have any issues or concerns outside of the Dr dictating notes while still with us. Fast forward a year or so, we’ve returned because my daughter’s skin and allergies are not getting better and we’re struggling to manage her care. My husband took her to an appt with Dr Khalik and it didn’t seem like he was listening as when he reflected back what he heard, the information was incorrect. When we did a follow up visit, I took our daughter and we met with a APRN. She was dismissive and lacked empathy. She shrugged her shoulders to me and basically said there’s nothing more than can be done. She left the room before checking my daughter’s skin (the whole reason we were there). This provider did not instill any kind of trust or confidence that she could help us find answers and solutions for my daughter. At check out, the charge was initially 292$. We are self pay. The front office said she probably thought we were using insurance so she charged more (this doesn’t seem ethical). They lowered the cost when I pointed out Dr Khalik was 206$ at our last visit. With all of this, we will not be returning to this practice.
