Dr. Sanchez handled my aligner treatment and was great about addressing all of my concerns along the way. I experienced pain after treatment, and he provided several options to help. Katelyn, who managed the financial side at the time, was incredibly helpful—especially when I lost my job and insurance. She made a difficult time much easier. However, things changed after Dr. Sanchez left the practice. I no longer had a clear point of contact for follow-up care, especially regarding continued pain and confusion about my retainers. I was sent six aligners after a re-treatment, but none were labeled as retainers. I had a similar issue a year prior. I followed up—but every time I called, I could only speak with Donna at the front desk. Unfortunately, Donna was consistently dismissive, unhelpful, and even condescending when I tried to explain my situation. Despite my move across state (3 hours away), she wouldn't escalate my concerns to a doctor or assist with sending my records and only recommended I get a second opinion. She also gave incorrect information—telling me I had received my retainers when I hadn’t, which I later confirmed with another location. Because of that, I was unknowingly using my aligners incorrectly (which was not helping the pain). Thankfully, once Katelyn (now the manager) returned from PTO, she personally reached out. She was professional, empathetic, and took immediate steps to address the issues. Her help, along with the support from other kind staff, kept my overall experience from being a negative one. That said, Donna’s lack of professionalism and refusal to truly assist patients is concerning. It’s clear I wasn’t the only one who felt this way based on what I witnessed from the staff. I hope management addressed this, as patients deserve respect and proper support—especially when it comes to follow-up care and access to their own records.
