- JJJasonNov 11, 20251.0I went into the Davis hwy location yesterday. Needed a quick adjustment to my glasses after one of my dogs bumped them. She spent a few minutes looking at them on my face asking what needed to be adjusted (you could see the issue with them sitting wrong) and then asked if i had purchased them from there. As I did not I was disregarded and she moved to the next client. I was looking for a local option instead of if the VA optical shop, however after this, it's time to keep looking. Based on the reviews, my situation may be more related to a employee having a bad day rather than the practices of the company. Doesn't change the result. Buyer beware.

But, I would still have to pay for the exam, even if they couldn't help me, because they have no doctor on site (which is insane by the way). They offered to make me an appointment for next month but I declined and walked out. The fact that they use telehealth doctors instead of an in person doctor is absolutely insane to me. Take this as a warning if you have bad eyesight like I do.

Unfortunately, the one she'd chosen had been discontinued, so we were scrambling to find an alternative. The lenses were intact, but we knew it would be a challenge. The associate who helped us, Rossmerry, was more than up for this challenge! My daughter had many, many, many, MANY questions (as did I) and she took the time to be courteous, friendly, and (most important) accurate. In the end, she found a frame that fit my daughter's lenses almost EXACTLY. And she loved them! As long as the rest of the staff is as patient and attentive as Rossmerry, I'll continue using Stanton for my family's vision needs.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I walked in because I had heard that you didn’t need an appointment and was seen right away. They had me put all my info into a tablet and I went straight back to have my exam within 15 minutes! The exam process was very streamlined and easy to complete. After that you pick out your frames and your glasses are ready within a couple hours in most cases. This is my first experience with Stanton but it definitely won’t be my last! This was a great experience all the way around! The prices are very fair and unmatched by anyone else in the area. I highly recommend Stanton Optical for your next pair of glasses.
