Staff could use better training. Twice now I had my temperature read over 100 when I'm find and then a second reading shows 98. Staff says they are to old to take temp from the side. This leads to false readings and the machines tend to fail. I've given gallons of blood over the years and I'm starting to question if I trust to continue. Latly I've had terrible experience and this makes my reluctant to continue to give.
*update* after the tech blamed me for moving my head which caused a bad temperature reading and showing a lack of care or concentration as she was more concerned with her cellphone than her patient, I left. I did not donate and will no longer do so until this horrible continued poor treatment is corrected. Between bruises and inconsiderate staff, this is not the same as years past. It is very clear the new hirings are there for a paycheck and not to help their community. This was my 5th time having terrible experience. The bus is worse and now even the office has poorly educated staff.

Talking or joking with friends / family is not acceptable in the lobby, even quietly.
You can’t sit with your loved ones when they’re donating.
Very disrespectful about this as well.
The front desk lady was rather nice, and seemed fine by both things. The lady doing the blood however was very nasty and vocally rude.
She was acting like a teacher reprimanding students.
We are adults. Doing something we don’t even have to, to help out. If you’re gonna be a jerk, people aren’t going to give blood anymore.
Teagan was super nice. She’s the only reason we stayed. She needs a raise, Shirley needs fired.

Will not be coming nack to this location. A girl in training attempted to draw blood from me but missed the vein. No problem, I understand there's a learning curve. What was NOT okay was the woman she called over for help, who proceeded to wiggle and shove the needle through my arm to get to the vein. When I tell you the PAIN that it caused me, I was doing everything I could not to come up off the seat. Then she gets an attitude and says I'm "too squirmy" for her and that she won't touch me if I'm going to act like that. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. If that's how you treat your donors then I want no part of it. I've been going to this location for years but never again.
