Recently had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Cheryl Carlyon. During my visit, Cheryl was completely unhelpful, dismissive, and made the entire process unnecessarily difficult. Her demeanor was unkind and unwelcoming, and I felt that my concerns were completely disregarded. It was a waste of my time and money, leaving me frustrated and without any of the assistance I needed.
This wasn’t the first time I’ve had a negative encounter with Cheryl. Years ago, I saw her for therapy and remember her being equally rude and unhelpful, so it is disheartening to see that her treatment of clients has not changed over time.
To make matters worse, after I left her office and went to the front desk to gather more information, I overheard Cheryl talking negatively about me to her co-workers. This blatant disregard for my privacy is not only highly unprofessional, but also a violation of HIPAA laws, which protect patient confidentiality.
I would strongly advise anyone seeking mental health services to look elsewhere. Cheryl Carlyon’s behavior was unprofessional, and her failure to respect client privacy is deeply concerning.

Just received a call that the appointment for my son scheduled for next week has been cancelled because of previous no-shows, and from the other reviews here this seems to be a pattern for them.
My first cancellation was short notice due to a family situation - I don't recall exactly, but I asked to be rescheduled for another date and they were accommodating. It didn't seem to be a problem.
On the rescheduled date I showed up to their office but the provider was out sick, and we had not been notified in advance. I was perturbed but I understand that mistakes happen and they are close to where we live, so I rescheduled again.
Upon further checking my schedule I discovered that this new date conflicted with a procedure my wife was having, so (days in advance) I called again to reschedule and set a new date.
Which brings me to today, the voice message they left me, and my call back to them to find out what the deal was as I have NEVER had a doctor's office EVER cancel an appointment because of too many no-shows. Seriously?? I guess they are established enough with their current patients to not have to worry about turning away new ones. That said, I got their message loud and clear and will be looking elsewhere.

We took our son to this location to have him tested to see if he fell under the autism spectrum. We had to do a total of three visits in order to get him tested. The third visit we had to cancel twice because my son was going to visit his family over the Summer in the West Coast. We called the office and spoke to the receptionist after leaving several messages to inform her that our son one will not be in town and that we would call her to reschedule. Once our son came back from summer break we attempted to reschedule the last appointment and the receptionist said that we would have to pay a fee for having a no-show to our appointment. We tried to explain to her that we called and we canceled the previous appointments but she said that the office manager said that we missed those appointments. I took it upon myself to go down to the office with my phone bill to show that we spoke to the receptionist and left numerous messages to cancel those appointments. The office manager refused to go come outside and talk to me after me waiting there for 15 minutes.
We did receive a write up from the doctor Dr. Mark S. Flynn about our sons diagnosis. It was incomplete, the doctor even put that we did not take him to all his appointments and that we were no-shows.
We were besides ourselves on the lack of professionalism and customer service provided by the office manager and the doctor. We tried to make another appointment but the office manager wanted us to pay a fee for being no-shows when in fact we called and canceled those appointments.
I would not recommend this doctor nor this office to anyone. It’s apparent that they don’t care about patients and all they care about is making a buck.
