Do not go here unless you want to be treated with disrespect, undermined, and like you’re nothing except an idiot. :( I can ONLY IMAGINE how they treat the elderly and those of The Villages, that are much more vulnerable. As an advocate for the elderly, I will be diligent in my representation for them. This is more than likely why she felt okay to treat me so ugly. As I have past experiences with these same situations. You make the initiative to go to through these organizations to help SAVE LIVES, then when there’s an issue with your information or your gift card, due to their lacking of skills and or care and diligence, the employees speak to you with disrespect. I was hung up on in the middle of explaining my situation TWICE! No reason for that, except a lack of professionalism. Then when I called back, she was laughing about it. So unprofessional and negative look for One Blood. Her name was “Francis” according to her. I am also updating this review the following day, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done regarding my issue. It STILL HAS NOT been resolved. :( I will never donate here again and I will warn others. I will also continue calling corporate, if I can successfully reach someone because, “Francis” basically said the manager won’t do anything more than what she did. Which was interrupt me, rudely spoke to me, laughed and belittled me, then hung up on me. Sad situation and company. Apparently they’re all friends there. And professionalism is definitely a lacked skill. The most sad part is, due to the unprofessionalism, precious lives that will need blood, unfortunately may not get it. So sad! But I refuse to be treated with disrespect and belittled due to a lack of diligence, unprofessional employees, lies, and lack of organization. Don’t waste your time, but please continue to donate. I’ve been told by multiple reliable sources that Life South is much much better. That will definitely be my new donation center. Hopefully my review will grab the attention of someone who can bring the positive results and correct the negative experience not only I have had but others, HOPEFULLY 🙏🤞 And I am basing this off of previous experiences from others, with reviews to back up proof. Please do better, One blood 😔

This office may be losing potential donors. Arrived early for a 10 o’clock appointment, which they accommodated. The professionally courteous front office staffer did my intake. Results indicated a pulse of 51, blood pressure of 130/80 & 12.8 hemoglobin. I am 68. I’m not that physically fit to have a pulse rate of 51. I was at two different doctors the day before and my blood pressure, taken manually, was ~120/70. BPM 75. I understand these values can vary but these seem excessive. Does anyone calibrate or check these devices? Lastly, they had me warm up my thumb and I went to the bathroom and ran warm water over it. With a wet thumb retest was 15.9! The variation in these values suggest that the devices are not reliable.

I've never been so dissatisfied with service at a blood donation center or a donation bus in my life. This place is so impersonal and could care less if you are there to help save lives. Appointments mean nothing. The staff at the front desk makes you feel like you are bothering them. They ignore everyone and just don't care. I wanted to donate my O negative blood as 100% of the population can take it, but I will not be treated this way. Never again. I find it hard to believe that One Blood would allow an office to be run this way.

Tried to donate for my wife who has cancer and needed a transfusion. Their only response was "Ok". I have donated almost 8gl., this is 1st time I wanted to designate or even needed blood. Disappointed!!!
