  From the moment I came to the procedure day to the options to how to pay, for me it is five stars out of five. Staff was very genuine, kind, straightforward, educated and efficient. Kudos to Lasik plus here off of Southside Boulevard. If you need your eyes Lasik and you’ve been thinking about it for a while come here. I’m 43 years old and the process of having my eyes Lasik and no more having contacts was exactly what I wanted and they delivered. Thank you to the staff Chris the other lady that remembered my birthday. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name and the other staff members that helped me throughout the day. And of course, Dr. Ireland. Thank you for your drive from Orlando to here to do the procedure.

  I had my Lasik done on Friday, and today being Sunday I can already see as well as with my glasses. I put this off for years thinking it would be too expensive but at about $4,000 it is so worth it! The staff was great, very helpful and kind. My first consultation was on Monday, surgery on Friday so it was very quick. My only complaint is that I was not warned about the smell of the laser... It's a bit unpleasant. Like getting a mole burned off! The procedure itself wasn't too bad, only about 10 minutes from start to finish. I could go on about the procedure, but suffice to say I am very happy with my results. I go for my follow-up appointment tomorrow and I'm excited to have a glasses-smashing ceremony afterwards :-) Highly recommended!!

  Great experience from the consultation, to the procedure and the follow-up visit. The staff is friendly and efficient. Melinda was especially helpful with her calm, helpful demeanor and her patience answering questions. I highly recommend LasikPlus and am thrilled with my results!

  I visited at this location for a consultation on 10/28/2025. My appointment was at 10:15am. I wasn’t seen until close to 11am. After going through the initial exam, I was then put into a room to speak with the doctor. The doctor was strangely on a video call with me. Between the staff being a little shrug, dismissive, not really giving me information but me having to ask for it and still feeling a little confused, to the video call, I left very uneasy as to if I even wanted them to do such a procedure on the only eyeballs I get for the rest of my life. I decided to get a second opinion and went to see Dr. Maida at Florida Eye. WHAT A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE! His staff was welcoming from the moment I received a text message from them to the moment I walked out of that door. They were very thorough in explaining everything they were doing, why, and making sure I truly understood each procedure. They then told me my corneal thickness was too thin for them to want to recommend LASIK or PRK. That I would have increased risks than normal patients for scarring or irreversible damage. So they recommended I go the ICL route. So my concern is, why wasn’t my corneal thickness a problem for LASIK Plus especially at my severe prescription? Was I going to be one of those patients they were going to take the risk on to get me in and out of the door? I’m very glad I listened to my gut and DID NOT book with LASIK Plus. I am so very happy I chose to see Dr. Maida with all of his experience as well as his staff that focused on me as an individual patient and not a number walking through that door like I was checking out at a grocery store.

  I am so happy that I got lasik. The doctor who did my eyes was amazing and I feel like he knew I was having a lot of anxiety during the procedure and he really talked me through it and helped me calm down as much as I could and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. I never thought my vision would be as clear as it is today and I can appreciate the little things in life now that I see them differently. My favorite thing to look at are the trees. They look incredibly pretty now. I still have to remind myself to not go grab my glasses anymore because I can actually look at my phone without having to squint my eyes. And even my computer. To anyone whose thinking about getting lasik , it’s absolutely worth it and these people are incredible at what they do.
