  I was very impressed when I walked into Dr Mendez office to see my NP… The office staff was very nice and professional…The waiting room and bathrooms were very CLEAN…The nurse, Sharon was professional and very nice…

  This is horrible. I’ve been trying for 2 YEARS to get this office to send my daughter’s shot records to her new doctor in a new state. They were supposed be to send them last year, I even PAID them to do so. Now I’m finding out they were never sent. This office refused to upload them to the FL immunization system, so I can’t retrieve them there. My daughter won’t be allowed in school and may have to repeat all her shots. No one will pick up the phone at this place. It’s a very sad because we loved the staff but this is a HUGE problem. I don’t really know what to do besides contact law enforcement.

  I used to swear by this place and it use to be the best primary care office on my list. Now it’s absolutely awful. You cannot reach the office by phone, email, or website. And they do not respond to any voicemails lefts behind, so don’t waste your time. I’ve been trying to pay my bill for months, but they are trying to double charge me for the office visit for $480, but I paid out of pocket in person at the end of my appointment. They said the $480 charge is automatically put on the invoice for insurances to pay and it was a mistake (the cost out of pocket is $130 btw!!). So not only is there a fake charge to make money off insurances, they won’t fix my invoice to reflect what I truly owe, which is lab fees only. And the email to pay the invoice goes to a 404 page. While I was at my appointment, I was jabbed 5 times by two separate nurses to get my blood test. They failed and asked me to come back when QuestDiagnostics team would be in on a Wednesday. Their nurses and staff are extremely unprofessional, talking about affairs and personal gossip at the front desk. The staff was arguing with eachother and it seemed like a very toxic place. I was there for a very sensitive topic (miscarriage) and they just kept trying to bring up their vacation announcements and office jokes. Absolutely appalling and very immature office place. Once I can FINALLY get in touch with them to pay my CORRECT bill, I am never going here again. It’s been 2 months of endless calling and still no answer or response!!

  Primary care is not their primary focus. I’ve really tried to be patient and understanding with this practice. I was hoping for a more holistic approach to medicine, but the practice cares more about pedaling the newest trend than caring for patients. The staff turns over frequently and never seems happy or very experienced. And the last straw was trying to call and get access to my records at 8:20am, being hung up on, and then rudely being told they don’t take calls until 9:15- so don’t believe the hours posted google.

  I have been with this practice for many years. Dr Mendez and her staff are very caring. Dr. Mendez's personality, warmth and tender care always helps me feel at ease. She takes plenty of time to answer my questions and simply talk. I appreciate her whole person approach to health and well being.
