  I have just placed my wheelchair-bound, 91 yr. old mother in an excellent nearby care home after her 24-hour needs increased, and so have just left the services of Bayshore Home Care after many years with them. My mother and I could not be happier with the wonderful and caring home health aides who have assisted my mother two and later three mornings a week since her stroke in 2017, all the way through Covid until now. I'm so glad I went with a reputable agency like Bayshore, recommended to me by a friend in the business long ago. They have been 100% professional, punctual and caring, with the office staff always making sure my mother had coverage when something came up on short notice with an aide's schedule. But on the other hand: Mom's scheduled care has been remarkably stable over the years in a field known for high turn-over, thanks to the high quality of the people caring for her and because of the deep resources available to Bayshore. If a loved one in your family needs help at home, don't try to freelance things with a private aide. I'm glad I didn't. A home health care service like Bayshore can make sure your loved one always has the help they need when they need it, and the peace of mind they've given me has been priceless. I can highly recommend their services.

  First, I can’t believe how fast I was able to get care for my mom on extremely short notice. Pam worked hard to make sure the schedule was covered over the holiday weekend/week so we could celebrate my son’s 21st birthday as planned. Next, the nurse assessment was so thorough! There wasn’t anything I needed or asked for that wasn’t documented. Even after her computer glitched out, and the nurse went back and re-entered everything in detail. Finally, the most important part is the Care givers assigned. My mom was so happy with the care and companionship! She even said she really didn’t miss us while we were gone. They left a log daily for me to review when I got back, which I appreciated. They were patient and great listeners to mom’s stories and showcases of her past artwork. My mom has declined rapidly in 2 months so leaving her for 5 days was really scary for me. But she actually was a CNA at Bayshore many years ago. It’s nice to know that in 15+ years, this company still holds their reputation in great standing!

  Exceptional customer support, “hand holding” us all the way. Mother likes ALL of her 24/7 caregivers (a first for the picky 99 year old). Outstanding attention to details; providing transportation to/from appointments; managing inventory and dispensing her pills; daily checks of vitals, observations and alerting us when additional medical attention may be needed. Compassionate friends. A godsend!
