  Stanton Optical does an excellent job attracting customers. The in-store staff is friendly, attentive, and very effective during the sales process. The initial service builds trust and feels professional from the beginning. That is precisely why the disappointment afterward was so significant. More than a year and a half ago, I made an investment close to $1,000 for two pairs of glasses with progressive lenses, transitions, and UV protection, including a two-year warranty on the lenses. Over time, both pairs developed clear physical defects in the lenses (internal separation or bubble-like distortions), which are clearly attributable to materials or manufacturing processes. From that point on, the experience changed completely. The warranty was initially denied, the focus was repeatedly shifted to the frames (when my complaint was never about the frames), and eventually the warranty was conditioned on paying 20% of the value, approximately $140–$145 per pair, despite there being no misuse on my part. Because there were two pairs, accepting this condition would have meant nearly $300 out of pocket and several days without glasses. As a result, I was forced to authorize the correction of only one pair so I would not be left without functional vision. This was not a choice—it was a necessity. What was most disappointing was not the money, but the complete lack of empathy. After more than a year and a half, no new eye exam was offered, nor any gesture of courtesy in response to a clear manufacturing defect. Everything was handled as a billing procedure, with no real concern for customer well-being or for protecting vision at 100%. The contrast is clear: excellent service to make the sale, but very poor support when the customer needs backing. Glasses are not a luxury; they are essential to quality of life. I hope this experience encourages the company to seriously review its warranty and post-sale service practices. Mi experiencia con Stanton Optical fue profundamente decepcionante, no solo a nivel técnico sino humano. En abril de 2024 realicé una inversión cercana a los $1,000 por dos pares de gafas con lentes progresivos, transitions y protección UV, con una garantía de dos años para los ópticos. Ambos pares presentaron defectos físicos evidentes en los lentes (separación interna por capas o burbujas), claramente atribuibles a materiales o proceso de fabricación. Sin embargo, desde el primer contacto la actitud fue defensiva, enfocándose en negar la garantía o desviar la atención hacia el marco, cuando mi reclamo siempre fue por los lentes. Finalmente se me indicó que la garantía aplicaba solo si pagaba un 20% del valor ($140–$145 por par), aun cuando no hubo mal uso de mi parte. Dado que eran dos pares, aceptar esa condición implicaba casi $300 adicionales y varios días sin gafas, por lo que me vi obligado a corregir solo un par para no quedarme sin visión funcional. Lo más decepcionante fue la falta total de empatía: no se ofreció una nueva evaluación visual después de casi año y medio, ni un gesto mínimo de cortesía ante un defecto de fabricación. Todo se manejó como un trámite de cobro, sin interés real por el bienestar del cliente ni por cuidar su visión al 100%. Los lentes no son un lujo, son un elemento esencial para la calidad de vida. Ojalá esta experiencia sirva para que la empresa revise sus prácticas de garantía y atención postventa.

  I want to get my eyes checked last week at this location on 49th St. in Hialeah. I wish I could remember the name of the other two staff members they were that were there because everyone was absolutely amazing from beginning to end . Radimir what’s the one who finished the final sale and help me look for the perfect frame I have been looking for glasses for over two months now and not finding the frame that I like every time I go somewhere the associates usually just try to get me to buy the most expensive frame that has nothing to do with what I just explain. I want it. I literally told him what I wanted once and he walk me to a small section on the wall that had exactly what I was looking for the entire thing literally took less than five minutes to pick up two frames. I have been another opticals for more than an hour and have walked away with nothing in the last two months. The staff here is super friendly and professional very welcoming. The store is extremely clean. The eye exam was very thorough. I’m so happy that I came here. Can’t wait to pick up my glasses.   Experiencia muy desagradable. Fui a esta óptica buscando asesoría para lentes de contacto y desde el momento en que entré el trato fue grosero y poco profesional. El personal actuó como si les estuviera pidiendo algo regalado, sin mostrar disposición ni amabilidad. En lugar de ayudarme, me hicieron sentir incómodo y mal atendido. Definitivamente no recomiendo este lugar; deberían recordar que los clientes van buscando soluciones, no malos tratos.

  Fue a ver monturas y comparar precios para saber que cubría mi seguro, me hicieron el examen de la vista y eso era todo lo que yo quería, no estaba buscando comprarlos de una vez. Cuando el muchacho revisó todo y le dije que me diera el presupuesto y que gracias, me dice que no, que tengo que mandarlos a hacer de una vez si o si o pierdo el privilegio de mi seguro. Y yo no entendía, no me dejó irme hasta que escogiera una montura y pagara, claro, yo no quería perder el seguro ni nada y por miedo a eso lo mandé a hacer. Fue a otra óptica y pregunté si funcionaba así y me dijeron que no, que tengo un año para hacerlo y ya, lo que yo ya sabía que funcionaba así. Entonces prácticamente me obligaron a comprar unos lentes que no quería y el trato fue superrrr indiferente, todo es como de mala gana y X. Por eso tiene 3.2 estrellas. No pasen un mal rato de gratis. Ahora ver si lo que me dieron si me funciona y es mi fórmula. Ni un estuche para los lentes me dieron. Actualización 2 semanas después, estoy de viaje con los lentes que me hicieron y me dio por ponérmelos y me quedan enormes, para nada fue igual de cuando me los probé en la tienda, y para la cereza del pastel! No son mi formulaaaa. Hay no sé si reír o llorar. Y ahora que hago? Tengo unos lentes que son como 3 veces más que mi fórmula y 200$ menos en mi cuenta. Y si me van a llamar a pedirle disculpas y tal, solo recibo llamas para reembolso. En un mes voy a miami y con todo gusto se los devuelvo. Voy a esperar a su respuesta y sino los reporto con el seguro por qué no voy a perder mi plasta. Feliz día
