The atmosphere is fun and uplifting, with activities that keep residents engaged and happy. Everything is run efficiently, and communication with families is excellent. We feel truly at peace knowing our loved one is safe and well cared for here. Special recognition goes to Marlene Shemtob who runs the office with such grace, compassion, and professionalism, making every step easy and worry-free for families. She is a bright light when we walk in setting to tone for our visit. And to Elsa Denis— her compassionate care for my mother has been extraordinary. She treats her with dignity, patience, and warmth, and it gives us such peace to know she is in such capable, loving hands. Thank you to everyone at Brookdale the Colony for the incredible work you do every day.

The staff is great. Olivia is always smiling. If your looking for a memory care facility in the Fort Myers area please don't pass this place up

They are clearly understaffed with consistent cancellations of activities is the norm. Our mother was there for a short time before we realized they do not live up to the sales pitch. Every solution to the difficulty of care was met with a bill. Frequent staff turnover tells you all you need to know. Past staff reviews of being employed there is all the proof you need to find a better place for someone you care about.
