Unfortunately I had a frustrating experience due to miscommunication regarding costs and insurance coverage. Before my appointment, I was told that my insurance would cover the visit in full. However, after the treatment, I was presented with an unexpected bill. When I asked for clarification, I was told the I would have to cover the balance and the insurance will reimburse me, which was not communicated to me ahead of time. I believe it’s essential for dental offices to provide clear, upfront information about costs and insurance coverage, especially before any treatment is done. I was left feeling misled and disappointed by the lack of transparency. The clinical care itself was fine, and the staff were polite, but the billing experience has made me hesitant to return. I hope this feedback helps the office improve communication and billing practices for Cigna patients moving forward
