    Buckle up, folks. I went in for a diagnostic mammogram and an ultrasound for a lump in my breast that had been confirmed was there years prior. Barbara, the wonderful lady who did my mammogram is probably the only good thing this place has to offer. She was an absolute delight and her butterfly filled room and positive attitude were a breath of fresh air. As for the ultrasound, the tech did a poor job and did not capture the lump that has already been confirmed even after i told her the general area that it was in. Literally pointed at it. The tech failed or refused to do more than their normal trained screening area. I left feeling like I was crazy and my declining symptoms now had an even darker cloud of fear and mystery around them. I called them again telling them that i wasn't comfortable accepting that it simply disappeared when my symptoms had been progressively getting worse and worse. A front desk representative, Diana, told me that after contacting the billing department that they'd be willing to re-do the ultrasound free of charge due to their error. I was like, okay sweet thank you. Later, Diana called me back and told me that I needed to get another authorization from my doctor because they couldn't do it without it.. Okay, got the authorization, sent it over and waited again. Another call came in from Diana and she then went back on her initial word stating that the procedure would now cost me. I argued that was not what was initially agreed upon and that I'd go elsewhere to get it done at a more reliable place. She then offered a 50% adjustment for the procedure after checking with billing. Still absolutely ridiculous that I have to pay for THEIR error. On top of all of this? According to my gyno, they're not in the Orlando Health network system. So none of the images that they took could be sent to my doctors despite sending a signed medical record release form?? Absolutely wild. Go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle.

    Awful, unless you find being treated like a child acceptable. You are not permitted to make an appointment without providing proof of an order from the doctor. I have an order in hand from my physician for a routine mammogram. I have been to Emery several times in the past for the same procedure without issue, but a new policy does not allow me to make an appointment without bringing my order to them (wasted trip), sending it via email (not secure in my opinion), or having my doctor contact them (waste of doctor's time). Asked to speak with someone higher to explain my thoughts on this and the office manager informed me that she could not change this procedure and while she did not make the policy she would be sure it was enforced. I am not a child and know how to read a simple order and verify the information on it, should they ask, and in fact read it to her. DON'T use this facility for your imaging needs, there are other options in the area that trust you as an adult to make an appointment.

    Easy access, good location with plenty of parking. Staff very efficient, professional and pleasant. Short waiting time. If I got same procedure at AdventHealth I would have waited another month. State of the art equipment. Images clear.

    The MRI technician and staff were extremely efficient! I highly recommend them. I felt comfortable there, especially having claustrophobia.
