- TTTSep 29, 20252.0The receptionists, the dentist I saw, and other staff were nice to me and attentive. One gave me a compliment about my positive demeanor. I ended up not going back, and I found a new dentist after my second visit because while a Black, female hygienist, I forgot her name and would not mention it on here, was not rude to me, she shared too much information regarding her family business and her disagreeing with a decision a niece of hers made, and she felt like she was disrespecting her mother. I did not agree, and that was the niece’s business, but I did not say anything because I did not want an argument to occur. She also was too serious when I told her I no longer wore my retainer, I lost it a while ago, and that I was told to wear it for 5 - 10 years by my former orthodontist, which she said people wear them for the rest of their lives. I also noticed the office was fast-paced and maybe had dysfunction and high turnover due to the angry patients giving the receptionists an attitude. There was one Black, middle-aged lady doing that, and I purposely sat far away from her, and I felt bad for the receptionist.
