I have never had this happened at a doctors/dentists office before. They should either have more competent people on their staff or increase the number of staff members.
- OEOnly EstAug 6, 20255.0So I have NEVER had a pleasant experience at a dentist’s office, so my expectations were bottom of the barrel. I walk in, and the dental hygienist is talking to a parent of a patient. I’ve literally never had a hygienist say more than 20 words to me, so hearing her actually explain things to the guardian… whatttt?! I get to the desk, and the lady at the front immediately says, “I apologize for the wait.” Mind you, I waited maybe 3 minutes MAX. Then she compliments my nails (now I feel like a seen human being). I ask about release forms arriving from my previous dentist, and she explains everything clearly and thoroughly. Then I head to the back with the dental assistant. She is so genuinely kind, sweet, and knowledgeable while staying completely professional. She made me feel so comfortable. I told her how much I despise the “dentist experience,” and she reassured me I was in good hands. But I’m thinking, there’s no way the actual dentist can match this energy. And BOOM — here comes the dentist. She immediately apologizes for the wait (again, maybe 10 minutes tops), and she is FRIENDLY!! She has the biggest, warmest smile and gave me a handshake that felt like a hug, I kid you not. She invites me to look at my X-rays and starts explaining the anatomy of my teeth and gums. She comes up with a plan, but she also asks questions the whole time, so it’s tailored to me and what I want. She prescribed medication, but even that is personalized. She asked how I’ve tolerated it in the past and adjusts the dosage based on me. I’m currently outside the office almost in tears. Don’t walk…..RUN to this dentist. I haven’t even gotten the bill yet (lol), but the customer service, bedside manner, and wealth of knowledge have me in awe. If I could give them a million stars, I would!!!
