  Staff are nice, I can agree with that. I would still like to know why we even bother with scheduling for a certain time when every time I find I am stuck waiting atleast 20-40 minutes past my appointment time to be seen by someone, no update, just stuck waiting. I went in the room, got blood pressure taken and asked to verify a couple questionnaire things which takes a couple minutes then told doc will be in within 5 minutes. 15 minutes later doc comes in, asks if all is good, talks to me briefly about health risks with birth control and age then hands me paperwork on how to take a birth control pill as if I didn't just confirm I've been on them for almost half my life so far, apologizes for the wait as if it isn't what happens every single time and says ok all set. The system here just seems off and has been, but they are nice and you can schedule within a few days of when you call which is convenient.

  I’ve gone here for the last two years for my birth control. I’ve never had a bad experience up until my last appointment. The nurse, Tammy was amazing but the PA, I believe her name was Alexis. She was nice up until she invalidated the existence of my PMDD by calling it just PMS. I also couldn’t get her to actually send over my prescription after my appointment until I called another location two days later. My appointment was on a Monday evening, I called Tuesday after it was still not sent. They told me it would be sent before the end of the business day. Still nothing. Wednesday, another doctor at another location helped me. It wasn’t that hard to do your job. I usually have a very easy and smooth appointment here.

  I am so glad to be back at planned parenthood in Torrington they have a amazing staff that are helpful and informational on all topics and products. They can be confidential if you like specially if you are a younge teen. Ive always appreciated that when i was younger. I was recently at a obgyn in Torrington for last 5 years since I gave birth and I always had a problem with them with sceduduling or not listening to me basically the complete opposite of what pph stands for. I finally said enough I have options and went back to planned parenthood I am glad I did!
