My husband was referred by primary for MRI results that showed a shoulder tear. PA @PBJ said there was no tear and gave him steroid shot! After pain was worse Primary wasn't happy about not treating the tear properly so we are headed up north for better care.

I am a Disabled Combat Veteran and Law Enforcement Retiree in my 60's, who spent over thirty-four (34) years in uniform Serving and Protecting my Country, State, and Community. The rest of my career was spent in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, and earthwork. Military Medical Records revealed that I was exposed for several years to Ionizing Radiation, and that exposure was responsible for a multitude of orthopedic degenerative issues including advanced osteoarthritis, degenerate disc disease, and degenerative joint disease. That lifetime of physically demanding work and service-connected degenerative orthopedic degradation have required to date, over fifty-four (54) surgeries, and now left me unable to work and unemployable. After making tens of thousands of dollars, probably into the hundreds of thousands, performing several surgeries on me, when my orthopedic condition would no longer allow me to work and earn a living any more, Dr. Farnworth REFUSED to complete federal medical questionnaires required as part of my Social Security Disability Application (and subsequent multiple Appeals), as well as VA Disability paperwork. Even after a VA-appointed Medical Examiner AGREED that my current medical conditions are Service-Connected, all I asked of Dr. Farnworth was to simply mark a checkbox that he either Agreed or Disagreed with the VA Medical Examiner, and he even REFUSED to mark a checkbox. I wasn't asking for hours of form completion, deposition giving, or medical dictation...just five (5) minutes to review documents for one of your patients. Is that asking too much ? It is extremely disappointing and infuriating that one of your trusted medical providers who know you best and can best testify as to your medical abilities and limitations, and who is more than happy to jump through all the hoops to get multiple surgeries approved by insurance, turns his back on you and refuses to help when you havent worked in over three (3) years and are fighting for Disability Benefits. Isn't it amazing this office is more than happy to make hundreds of thousands of dollars getting the insurance money to operate and rebuild you, but as soon as you need their help when you are getting the bureaucratic denial and runaround from federal agencies, the office turns their back and tells you to go away. I would highly recommend anyone looking in or around Pueblo find a doctor who will truly be there for you when you need them most. You DON'T want Pueblo Bone & Joint Clinic to care for you when they have so little regard and respect for those who have served and paid with their bodies. I just had total knee replacement surgery six (6) days ago, and PB&JC was originally the provider who was going to perform the operation, but I fired them and hired a new orthopedic surgeon.

Way over charging going on in these place, you have to pay an office visit, which is normal, then on top a Dr. Opinion for treatment/care of your injury even if he does nothing to you injury( 5 times the cost of other specialist in town). If you have to have x-rays there plan on paying 8x cost of normal charges.
