Met with Kathryn Rafferty today with some very annoying problems. She was very kind and I could tell she would be the one to get to the bottom of my ongoing issues. I don't love going to the doctor but I will be coming back here from now on. The atmosphere and the care I received today was very comforting.

Let me just say that Painted Rock is the BEST family practice ever. Right when you walk in the front door, you are greeted by Krissa and Shay who are the absolute sweetest most amazing women ever! They treat you like family and go above and beyond to help everyone who walks through their doors. Then Darla is the BEST doctor in the whole entire world! The love, empathy and care she has for her patients is amazing and such a blessing. She listens to you and makes you feel heard when you talk to her. HANDS DOWN best family practice ever! I could not recommend Family Rock enough! It I could give 10 Stars I would!!

TL;DR – Jennifer Wolfe had a case of senioritis and it showed: no medical history requested, no consent for recording, no medication review, incorrect diagnosis, and zero follow-through. The front desk staff was friendly however no one in the office requested me to fill out any medical history forms. Today is Sun 8/10/25, and I am so frustrated after my visit to Painted Rock Family Medicine. I recently got blood work done at the behest of a dietician, and when I saw the results, I wanted to see a medical professional right away to go over my cholesterol numbers and make a game plan. I was given the name of Jennifer Wolfe on Thur. Aug 7th as a recommendation and was happy to see there was one appointment available for the next day (Aug. 8th) so I grabbed that appointment. I did not fill out paperwork online prior to the appointment, and upon arrival, I was not asked to fill out any paperwork either; they just got a copy of my ID and Insurance cards. It was pretty odd. Once Jennifer walked in she set her phone down and positioned the mic towards me but didn't request consent to record (as I've experienced in other medical offices lately). She was nice, but a little blasé about my concerns. She said I could be given a statin, but I could also take a supplement, which she said I can get "anywhere, even Amazon". She said I should have my bloodwork checked in 6 months, and when I went to the front desk to make an appointment, I was told that "today is her last day with us." That would have been helpful to mention in the appointment. I walked out feeling okay about my cholesterol and plan of action. However, once I got home and researched the supplement she recommended, I felt really uncertain. I wasn't given any guidance about what brand I should look for... from the impression I got from her is that they're all the same. I was overwhelmed at the choices presented on Amazon, and upon researching further, I felt that I wanted the reliability of an FDA-monitored drug that was guaranteed to include a statin. I messaged the office after hours on Friday (8/8) to request the prescription ordered. Later that night, I got the After Visit Summary emailed to me. 🚩🚩🚩Three red flags stood out to me! 1. The summary was partially generated based on the recorded conversation during the appointment. 🚩I was never asked for consent for that to happen. In CO, it's not legally required; however, in their own summary, it states that "patient consent was required prior to utilizing this technology" (meaning the recording). 2. There are two medications that were listed as 'current', but I had them prescribed almost a year ago for a bout of the flu, and they are no longer current. 🚩 Jennifer did not ask about them nor inquire about any other medications or supplements I was currently taking (reminder: I wasn't asked to fill out any paperwork for this office). 3. 🚩 She MISDIAGNOSED me. She diagnosed me with "Mixed Hyperlipidemia," meaning my LDL and triglyceride levels were high. That is false - only my LDL levels were high. My triglycerides (and HDL) levels were perfect and normal. This all spells out a horrible experience with them, and I will not be recommending anyone to their office. I know Jennifer is leaving their practice, but I hope people read this and make future appointments with her, knowing my experience.

Be very Careful dealing with this provider they use Random service provider with extremely high charges for instance Some random hospital that provides lab work that are astronomical charges like 900.00 when you could use lab Corp for 9.00. Never follow up...Rarely do whats agreed upon and Sadly pass things on like Upps..

Incredible experience here! I am new to the Parker area from Arvada and I was determined to find a local primary care provider for all my health concerns. I am so very thankful that I found Darla and her team. No big heartless corporations - just Real Family Medicine. Painted Rock was able to provide ALL the care I was looking for in a single visit. That was including my annual physical w/ bloodwork, pap, echo, and discussed my concerns with the medications I was on. I finally felt heard!! No need to look any further - I found my home for primary care and I'm feeling better than ever!
