  Had an amazing LASIK experience! The staff was friendly and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. Thanks to yesenia as well for answering all my questions. The procedure was quick and painless, and I’m seeing clearly the very next day. Highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about getting LASIK!

  I am over the moon happy that after contemplating lasik for several years and going to several different places for consultations, I chose Lasik Plus in Lakewood. They were amazingly accommodating the fact that I was coming from Fort Collins. Every single person there was very kind and thorough, which gave me comfort. A very well oiled machine, with smiles. The best part is i can now see! Thank you Lakewood team. I very much appreciate y'all.

  It's now been 1 week since my surgery and I'm very happy that I did it. I thought it would be a lot more scary, but the staff was so great and the procedure so fast that I would recommend them to anyone. It's so wonderful but strange to feel like I'm wearing glasses when I'm not now, because it feels like always wearing brand new glasses where there are no scratches or blurry lenses, just eyeballs that need lots of (preservative free) rewetting drops. The sunglasses they provide to protect you from UV and rubbing are wonderful, and I choose to sleep in them over the provided sleep mask. And then the supplements too make me feel ever so cared for. I'm very grateful. Only 2 differences in opinion from their provided materials (which are thorough and delightful) and that's that I did not feel "pressure," I felt suction and it hurt. Luckily it's short. Perhaps I have a strong resistance to the painkillers in the drops, so I would recommend you take their advised Tylenol PM -BEFORE- your procedure and not afterwards as they had me do. That night, after my nap, I could use a computer, by the next morning I could see at 20/15. And after 2 days one eye felt like nothing happened to it at all. The second eye took a few more days to stop feeling gritty and like something was stuck there. But I didn't have to be afraid because the follow-up visit they give assured me that I was ok in that eye and everything was on the right track. My mom is going for a free consult today after hearing how very happy I am that I finally did it after so many years of fearful thinking of it. You should do this sooner rather than later!

  Love love love it…wish I would have done this sooner! From Joanna(the office manager) front desk, to the optometrist assistant taking me back through the eye exam testing, to the surgeons that did my procedure…were absolutely amazing! Very upbeat, bubbly, filling me full of compliments…all the way to making me feel calm about my decision in this procedure. My anxiety was through the roof, and was given mis-information about timing causing my anxiety to shoot through the roof, and I wast super friendly about it-but Joanna took it like a champ! Apologize for the inconvenience and information mishaps to making me take my hair down because of the procedure beds, I was a bit frustrated but she tolerated me kindly. Then the doctor came to get in the relaxation room, asked if I had questions, and walked me into the room to begin. I was met by another doctor and nurse, that both were very professional and polite. When my procedure started, I was startled by the eye brackets, then as the laser began to cut the first eye, it wasn’t quite numb, so I felt every bit of it (no one’s fault because it happens at times) but because I was moving a little the doctor grabbed my hand and held it for comfort. Just overall the best experience of my entire life…plus the gift of sight. Although I was a bit confused about how the near and far vision were going to work…I am very pleased at this new beginning, for someone that has been in glasses/contacts since 5th grade. I was ready to be done with that ball and chain!!!

  I have been in glasses and contacts for at least 40 years. I was over the amount of money I was putting into eye drs visits, glasses and contacts. I finally decided to bite the bullet and have lasik done. I drove 6 hrs to this location in Lakewood which was the closest to me. I had a virtual consult first which is where they ask questions and you can ask questions to determine if lasik is a good fit. It didn't take long at all!! Then my appointment was scheduled for an actual visit at 9 in the morning to have all the exams done. I walked in to a comfortable atmosphere with very friendly greetings. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and seemed like they have known me my whole life and treated me like family. Exam was done in about an hour (maybe a little over lol). The Dr and assistants were very friendly and helpful. After that was said and done, I had my surgery scheduled for 1p.m. the same day!! I was nervous before I walked into the building, but the staff eases your nerves with their cheerful and friendly banter. The surgery didn't take long. I believe I was in the room for about 20 mins total. Afterwards l went home to take the nap. At first it was hard to get to sleep, but after about an hour, my eyes finally calmed down and I was able to sleep. 4 hours later I woke up, put my drops in and went to grab my glasses, then remembered I dont need them!! I put my drops in and my vision started clearing up and I could see!! It was a little blurry at first, but after a couple days, it started clearing up really well!! I love the staff at the Lakewood, CO location for everything they did to make me comfortable. I am excited to start my new journey without glasses and contacts!! Thank you all!! You rock!! I highly recommend checking them out!!
