- JGJames GibbensNov 4, 20251.0On October 19th 2025 I went to middle park Granby for a laceration that took off the tip of my thumb, the wound was not properly cleaned and still had dirt within the cut when leaving. After chemically cauterizing the cut, flowing bleeding continued later that night and the following days. No antibiotics were given when leaving. Little wound care supplies were given that lasted about 2 days. Blood from the initial cut was still present around the wound when leaving even after being washed by staff.

It turned out I had a kidney stone, the care I received was excellent and very caring from the front desk to all the staff including. Dr. Maurer. I was seen very quickly and the treatment they gave me took away the intense pain. After the scan showed the problem the doctor gave a thorough explanation of what to expect and advised me to see my primary care doctor when I got back home. I was so grateful to be out of pain and for the care and compassion of the staff.
