My husband and I have been using this pharmacy for a few years, and have to say that we've had nothing but good experiences. We receive a text when our prescriptions are ready to be picked up and the pharmacists and pharmacy techs have been nothing but friendly and professional!

I’ve been coming to this Safeway and pharmacy for years. I’ve never had anyone be as rude and unhelpful as Liz in the pharmacy department. Unsurprisingly, when I came to write the review her literal picture came up from another customer who had a very similar experience. One instance may be an off chance but multiple negative occurrences with the same woman is not. Please have her work on her customer service skills. People rarely want to be at the pharmacy and being greeted and treated poorly by staff should not be tolerated. Please do better.

Overall, I like this pharmacy. I appreciate that they send texts when my prescriptions are ready and they were super helpful in transferring my prescription around when no one seemed to have an emergency med I need in stock. I have also gotten various vaccines here and they have always been comfortable and quick. The techs and pharmacists are very professional as well. My only issue is why make everyone wear their last name on their name tag? I know that pharmacists and techs deal with some crazy customers and giving those customers such easy access to your last name is a recipe for disaster. Working a customer facing job must be really hard, I appreciate anyone that is willing to do it.

Unethical interaction with a pharmacy staffs As a registered nurse, I would not recommend this pharmacy. I suggest taking your insurance elsewhere and asking your doctor to send prescriptions to a different location. When I first went to pick up my medication, Isaiah asked me to wait while it was being prepared. After waiting for some time, I went back to the counter to check in again, and that’s when Isaiah told me the medication was out of stock. Naturally, I was confused and disappointed, because that information could have been communicated upfront, rather than after I had already waited. I calmly explained that this felt inappropriate since he could see me waiting at the counter and had the opportunity to let me know right away. Instead of acknowledging this, I was accused of “harassing” despite keeping a respectful and calm tone. This was troubling, especially because I recorded the interaction, which shows I was simply voicing my concern. What makes this even more concerning is that right after this exchange, I was suddenly able to receive my medication. This inconsistency raised further questions about the ethics and professionalism of the staff. As a registered nurse, I understand how important clear communication and patient respect are in healthcare. I also recognize my privilege in being able to advocate for myself. But I can’t help but wonder, what if I were an elderly patient? Or someone who didn’t speak English fluently? Situations like this could easily result in patients/customers not getting the care they need. When I picked up my new medication, I remained respectful and even thanked the staff. (I hope the manager reviews their video on the the interaction, as it clearly shows this.) Unfortunately, the staff seemed more focused on being dismissive than on providing me information on my new medication. I did not receive any education on my new med which is a patient safety. This experience left me very disappointed, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure that future patients/customers are treated with dignity and receive the education they deserve.
