As you read my love letter to the MVPC Lowry location, know that I have never stuck with PT before. That being said-
I truly have so much love and admiration for everyone at the MVPC Lowry location. After addressing several cervical spine issues with another pain center (multiple RFAs, epidurals, etc.), I decided to try a different place.
Here are a few ways I love this location and it's wonderful providers and staff (in no order):
- All of my pain management needs are at one location: chiro, PT, pain mgmt, and acupuncture.
- I have yet, as neurodiverse individual, felt that I needed to mask myself with anyone at Lowry (for those of my fellow ND/AuDHD-ers, it's crazy how much of a difference it makes to be in a medical setting and being accepted and validated for one's authentic self).
- Dr. Melati, the site's acupuncturist, is incredibly talented with the itty-bitty needles. I've worked with other acupuncturists, and she is The. Best. By Far.
- My initial provider at MVPC, Hailey and her amazing assistants, Jair and Rosa, have been so kind and gentle, even when I'm listing the 1,001 things that are hurting my physical body (and congrats on getting engaged, Hailey!).
- Chiro Queen, Brittany? THE BOMB. She actually cares about how I am doing, and is super-talented in helping me with my TMJ.
- I only worked with Chiro Master Ricardo once, but he is GOOD.
- SHOUTOUT to the Princess Chiro Assistants, Kendra and Olga, both of whom I want to adopt and take shopping. They are knowledgable and are always two bright shining stars when I'm being treated.
- And then there's the PT Crew: Cayla, Eric, Royce, and Lauren. As a former Pilates instructor, I am pretty knowledgable about different stretches and exercises that will support my different bodily aches and pains. However, that's NOTHING compared to the combined smarts of this group of talented PTs. AND, they let me be my silly self and even change the rotating riddle on the whiteboard. (Gold Star to Cayla for figuring out yesterday's in under 30sec!)
- Megan, The Manager of All The Peoples, is also very kind. While my first interaction with her was really yesterday (and my riddle did puzzle her!), I was impressed. Honestly, I was just making a suggestion for the center and wasn't blown off, which is huge! Fingers crossed my idea comes to fruition!
- And, now we come to the group that puts a spring in my step (even with a stupid boot) and HUGE SMILE on my face, every time I arrive: Sabrina, Gloria, Mitzi, Linnett, and Rebeca. This Front Desk Support Squad (FDSS) raises my energy and makes me laugh - two things I never thought checking into an appointment would do. I am so grateful for their smiles and sass!
If you have made it to this point in my lengthy review, I hope you can feel my love for this amazing pain center. I could probably go on and on, but in the end? I just want to make sure everyone gets their due Gold Stars and know the way they have interacted with me as absolutely attributed my healing.
The Best.
