I would leave only one star based on my most recent visit, but, since I've dealt with these guys in the past, and they were OK, I'm leaving 2 stars. I went to my Dr. Last night and he put a prescription in to this location around 5:45 pm. I waited until this morning to go pick it up because I figured it wouldn't have been ready last night. Mind you, this is a medication that is needed for an emergency I'm having. I went in this morning around10:45 am. I stood and waited (there was no one in front of me) for 3 techs to stop griping about another customer. When I got help, they couldn't find my prescription. An older lady walked over and spoke in a very rude tone that they didn't have my prescription and I needed to call my Dr.. I called my Dr. to let them know the issue and when they looked at everything on their end, they verified that they had indeed sent the prescription over last night. So now, they are contacting the pharmacy again for me to make sure I get my desperately needed medication. I normally get my scripts sent to me and only use Safeway for emergencies and thank goodness because if I had to rely on them for my normal meds, who knows what would happen. This is ridiculous. If the prescription is delayed because of insurance, then why can't they explain? That and give an estimated time of when it might be ready....something. Instead, I just get a very curt, "we don't have it and you can go figure it out attitude". You guys need to learn some customer service. I usually never make bad reviews but this was unacceptable. I, myself work in service and provide customer service on a daily basis and I could not imagine being like this to customers. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional and now I have to make ANOTHER trip once it gets sorted out. This is not the way people who are having medical emergencies should be treated. Do better Safeway. ***UPDATE*** my Dr. called the pharmacy to figure out why they don't have my prescription and of course no one answered. I told them I have no confidence that it will get resolved and to please send my prescription through my normal mail order pharmacy. I figured if I have to wait, I may as well get the medication from a reliable pharmacy. I hope to god I don't lose my eyesight because I almost did last year. Like I said, this is a medical emergency and obviously Safeway doesn't care to change its ways. If they did care, these types of reviews wouldn't still be complaining about the exact same issue that has been going on for years. I'm done with Safeway. My review has changed to one star and if I could, I would give you zero stars. Absolutely inexcusable behavior.

All the reviews are accurate, unfortunately. Rude staff, SLOW fills of scripts, and the line today was TEN DEEP and they would not open the second window. Albertsons, fix this!

Whomever answered the phone for me on 7/7/25 at 8:35 AM for a Rx status was absolutely rude!!! This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced rude customer service here before either. My call was answered and immediately put on hold. When she came back to the phone, I told her I needed the status of a new Rx. She rudely asked for my information, and I provided it. She then again spoke to me in a rude tone and said the Rx wasn’t ready until the next day due to insurance and said that’s why I haven’t heard from them. Then, she just hung up on me. This was just the start of her shift. I feel for those who have to deal with her the remainder of the day. I get places are short staffed, but still that is no excuse for poor customer service. To the manager, please consider providing some training in customer service. Not all are equipped with it.
