I thought pharmacy’s filled prescriptions? Apparently, this one does not and will give you every excuse not to do so. The pharmacist woman is awful and will berate you for needing medication’s. She likes playing god and holding that over your head. Marna is her name and she seems to be mentioned here a lot in comments. Perhaps management should look into this because it is ruining the entire pharmacy and store reputation. I live down the street from Safeway, but I am happy to now drive much further to avoid the rude treatment.

Seriously the rudest pharmacy staff I have ever encountered! Mark that down as a never again will I shop here! I will even refuse door dash offers if they are for here! Customer service should become a teaching priority! I am not the only person that has dealt with this rude staff!

Visiting from NYC, my doctor called in a prescription here, but when I went to pick it up, the pharmacist refused to fill it. She said my doctor prescribed 30 pills, but “standard” dosing is only 5 days. I calmly explained I rarely take 5 days in a row, my bloodwork is monitored regularly, and my doctor has safely prescribed this for years without issue. She only agreed to give me 5 pills if I disclosed my personal medical condition, then said she will fill the rest next week if my doctor explained further. When I returned she had changed her mind about filling the full prescription next week, regardless of what my doctor says. I felt awful (sick) and needed the medication so I said fine, I'll buy the 5 pills, but the 5 pills rang up at $10, even though GoodRX listed $4 for 20ct. They begrudgingly reduced the price to $4, but that was the cost of 20ct, not 5ct. I paid for pills I wasn't given. When I pointed this out, she ignored me and just asked, “cash or card?” The money isn’t the issue -obviously - it’s the principle and her attitude. She was rude, raised her voice, claiming she'd lose her license, and loudly/ dramatically listed off side effects I already know well. This drug isn’t a narcotic - it’s a non-opioid anti-inflammatory that has literally prevented serious medical issues for me many times. And given I've been able to get this drug from pharmacists all over NYC for years without any issue makes me wonder about her IQ and ability to do her job. Her lack of compassion and hostility were shocking. If you want to be treated with respect, choose another pharmacy and avoid this miserable pharmacist. Why is she a pharmacist if she hate's people this much? If she's refusing to do her job? She shouted I should find another pharmacist - and trust me - I WILL! And I want YOU to know before you attempt to trust her with potentially life saving medication. Don't trust this pharmacist. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else.
