Just had oral surgery, meaning my mouth is packed with gauze, saliva, and blood.
I went to the literal "dropoff" counter, where the sign is and stood and waited patiently.
A minute goes by and a female pharmacist tells me to "come over here" so I go and stand directly in front of her and wait.
Her coworker, a man, you could tell was already being short with me in the tone he used to say, "no over here by me" about 4ft to the right of the woman who's directions I followed.
He then asked me some questions which I could not answer so I pantomimed to get a pen to write with.
He shook his head at me as if in disgust and simply told me the prescription will be ready in an hour.
I left for 10 minutes and got a piece of paper.
I wrote on it how I cant talk, I was following directions as they were given to me, and how his responses to me simply trying to communicate were not acceptable or appropriate and I'd like an apology.
At this point, indicative of his personality, he deflected completely and told the guy that didn't say a word to him the entire time that THEY were the ones acting rude. Im not sure how pantomiming for a pen is rude.
I hope they check the cameras and see how this guy acts and treats a non-verbal customer.
Should NOT be in customer service in my opinion.
Edit, his name is Jackson Stone.
5'10, early 30s, dark hair.
