My medical card expired when I went in for a new one i was denied because the doctor who gave me my physical wanted info from my primary care Dr, my cardiologist, and wanted me to gets tested for sleep apnea. Then main problem is he wouldn't issue me a temporary med card for 45 days to get all the things he wanted so im not able to work/drive until I get him all that he requested And it takes weeks to schedule all these appointments.

Called my insurance before to double check this urgent care took it, she told me yes there is no reason for them to turn you away. I go in and she immediately tells me “no we don’t take that.” I asked if she could call my insurance to confirm because I knew she was wrong. She told me no immediately because she knew they didn’t take it (she was wrong). I waited for four hours for them to figure how to get my insurance correctly, while the whole time all they had to do was CALL THE COMPANY LIKE I SAID. After four hours of waiting, I was finally seen, took an hour for them to come back with my Flu test, meanwhile I feel like I could pass out. I tell the doctor when he goes to get my prescriptions sent that I need a doctors note for the 16th and 17th. When the lady comes back with my papers there is no note. I asked again for my doctors note and she said she would ask the doctor, I said okay, I need it for work for today and tomorrow. She comes back fifteen minutes later with a note just for today telling me that was what was discussed when it clearly wasn’t. Finally once I got home, I waited and waited for the notification my meds were ready and never got it. I was on the phone for almost another two hours telling them I need my meds sent to Walgreens which they told me they 100% confirmed and sent. Which they did not. Only one script was sent and it was not even the correct one. They tried to make me feel stupid and shallow when I was correct. The staff was not welcoming and not open to trying to get things figured out, horrible horrible experience and will not be going back. Also would like to add, they rudely told me to take the prescription paper to the Walgreens because that is the same, so I did, and the pharmacist informed me the paper was not valid at all and there was not even a doctors signature on it, point is if you are sick or need urgent care DO NOT GO TO CONCENTRA!!!

When I arrived there was no one waiting to be seen. I waited over an hour, had to leave for an appointment. Came back to have fill out paperwork that should have been given to me while I was waiting. To have sit an wait for over an hour again. The staff I encountered was polite but the lack of communication regarding wait time is frustrating. I understand policies have to be followed in regards to maintaining scheduled appointments. With that walk-ins should be notified of long waiting periods especially when there is no visible signs of extended waiting. As this point I feel like they forgot about me. Like they forgot to give me mandatory paperwork when I first arrived.Nothing urgent about this care. Thank goodness I am here for physical for work and not having any pain.
