  I went there hoping for relief as a new patient, I got worse! I was charged over a $ 1, 000. For covered care! And still wanted to charge me more! I contacted my insurance , thankfully!! after being told I need to pay over $900.00 more for a root canal that is covered in my plan as well!!! my insurance provider was stunned as the office never submitted any authorization for any work!.. I was told I needed a crown first , payed over $500.00 before they would take care of me, then another $500.00 for the actual crown..(which now I will never get!!) As a new patient I never saw a Dentist, just a on screen virtual assistant and an offsite Dentist, with a list of dental care recommendations costing me over 6,000.00.when all I wanted was normal dental care and evaluation…I was never told who was who in the office that worked on my tooth, very weird experience ever… just wanted money and more money. Please do not make the same mistake I did!! I was hurting and went ahead and payed and I still didn’t get relief! I did meet with a Dentist on my last visit and asked his name.. he was very professional and courteous.. the front staff was nice, the back office staff were Not friendly and were NOT knowledgeable in answering any questions. Very updated office but VERY deceiving. I didn’t go back and I left with a cavity open and needing a root canal. I will NOT recommend this dental office ever! Very bad experience and expensive lesson!! I gave 1 star for the front office staff being friendly.

  The front desk is so friendly and helpful. The dentist is really good. It’s hard to find a dentist you trust. Going to the dentist makes it easier. Thank you!

  If you want to see a real, in-person dentist, I strongly advise against Zak Dental. I came in as a new patient after changing insurance, expecting a routine checkup and cleaning. Instead, I was told I needed new x-rays and a consultation even though I had recent ones with my previous dentist. No effort was made to request my existing records when I communicated this to staff. After the x-rays, I was taken to a room with an iPad for a Google Meet call. That was when I realized there would be no dentist to physically examine my teeth or review my x-rays with me. I decided to leave before the consultation began. While the staff were polite and understanding, this telehealth setup for new patients felt impersonal, rushed, and focused on saving costs instead of providing real dental care. The telehealth approach was not transparently communicated when I booked the appointment on the phone. I would not recommend Zak Dental to anyone seeking genuine, hands-on checkup.
