  Not the service I was expecting. Went in on January to get my new prescription for glasses and possibly contacts. I was told I shouldn’t wear contacts I should just wear glasses since it’s better for the eyes. After letting them know it’s not what they want it’s what I feel like is best for me, they “ordered samples” so I can try out the different once they offer which okay great. Till this day they have not reached out what’s so ever about the contact lenses. Also. My prescription is all wrong as well. Went elsewhere and got the correct prescription. Definitely not coming back to this place.

  I was concerned my vision may have changed and scheduled an eye exam with Dr. Douglass Aaseby. I received a very thorough exam. Due to my job and age, I have a wide variety of vision needs. The Optometrist, Kelly McAllister, and Dr. Aaseby answered my questions and addressed my concerns. My vision had not changed much and the change in the prescription for my glasses would be minor. It didn't make much sense to buy new glasses. I appreciate the sincerity, honesty and helpfulness I received. They put the patient's needs and interests first.

  My fiancé had an appointment for EYEGLASSES. Her check in and appointment itself went very well. The receptionist while a little frazzled was very professional as was the optometrist. The optometrist went above and beyond. He asked my fiancé if she wore contacts at all as had complained her current eye glass prescription was not working any longer especially. He offered her some trial contacts to hold her over until she was able to get her new glasses. Now where the issue arise is when she was wrapping up her appointment what appeared like the store owner was lording over and upon seeing her with contact trials asked the receptionist if she had paid the contact exam copay ($60) which she had not as the contact were just a kind gesture. He than demanded via the receptionist that she pay for the contacts copay in order to get the trials despite not receiving the contacts eye exam. He was rude, pushy and showed a lack of customer service or care for his customers. The only reason I and my fiancé are giving this 2 stars is because despite the owner being rude to my pregnant fiancé and trying to take advantage of her the receptionist and optometrist were well mannered and kind. Its my hope the owner sees this review and can take the necessary steps to make the necessary steps to ensure ALL customers are treated fairly and with care. We will not however be coming back to this particular optometrist and eye wear store in the future.
