- HSHyunji SonOct 8, 20253.0Walked-in for an employee health assessment. Since the authorization for this exam has a short expiration, I visited the clinic promptly. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes as I was not informed about this until I got to the clinic. You will also need to fill out a registration form before checking in. If the system is up, you can either use their iPad or your phone to register. Unfortunately on the first visit, I was not able to register and front desk lady did not seem to know what the issue was, so we agreed on another visit on another day. On the second visit, I was again not able to register, and the same front lady explained that the registration system is down and that she does not know how long the fix will take. Just when I began to feel anxious about how I could get this health assessment done, another front lady - sitting at our left - explained it will only take about 10 min. Indeed shortly after, I was able to register. The health assessment itself went incredibly smoothly.

They helped me call the Torrance location to see if they could still get me in. It was late in the afternoon on a Friday and the doctor has limited hours they said. But then they said, “Just come on in and we’ll get you in to see the doctor somehow.” When I got there, the waiting room was very crowded - they even had an overspill waiting room! So I immediately thought, “Oh boy, this is going to take forever!” Especially on a Friday afternoon! But they got my in pretty quickly! My doctor there is Dr. Mary Bos and she’s great! She really knows her stuff and my hand is healing like a champ because of her! Her bedside manner is very patient and kind. Very happy with Concentra!
