The clinic staff made a serious mistake — instead of doing the ultrasound as expected, they drew blood by mistake. Later they admitted it was due to “miscommunication.” What made things worse is that the blood test, which was supposed to be done before she took the abortion pill, was only taken two days after she had already taken the medication. This is not only careless but also very stressful for patients who are already going through a difficult situation. Such errors show a lack of proper coordination and attention to detail. In sensitive matters like abortion care, patients deserve accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
