  My experience with this care team in this location always is absolutely great! They are caring, friendly, supportive, and always willing to help, answering any questions and concerns I have, never felt rushed, and they always made sure I’m fully aware of what’s going on! And the fact that they are pretty much punctual, it’s a plus Thanks so much for this planned parenthood of Kearny mesa for a such good care

  This location is misaligned compared with the mission of PP. They are only concerned with money (upselling services) and not the safety health or security of patients. They are only willing to assist the wealthy and are happy to turn away people in need. Front office staff were rude and the culture of greed shows. I completely understand why this office had almost no patients. At its best if you have money and need a next day appointment it's a great place to visit and cheaper than the emergency room (constantly reminded by front staff) otherwise it's a place that preys on the desperate that are worried about their health or the health of their baby.

  I am writing to share feedback about my recent visit to the Kearny Mesa Joan and Irwin Jacobs Center, where I was seen by Alexandra D. Foster. I came in to confirm a planned pregnancy and was disappointed by the experience from the clinical team. When I arrived, I was informed that my partner would not be allowed to accompany me for the ultrasound. I was told that the decision was left to the discretion of the provider. While I fully understand and respect the importance of maintaining the privacy of all patients, I found it difficult to go through such a personal and emotional moment alone—especially given that I have since learned other Planned Parenthood locations have procedures in place that allow partners to be present while still preserving patient confidentiality. As a nurse, and with several family members also working in healthcare, I am aware that there are effective systems that balance patient privacy with compassionate, inclusive care. While I understand that policies may vary and life isn’t always ideal, this was unfortunately a very isolating experience for me at what should have been a joyful moment.

  Coming to this location, for me, has been a great experience. The staff here are always nice / welcoming and listen to my needs and answer questions I might have. Getting appointments or same daycare has not been an issue and their location is convenient. Thank you to those who make this location an exceptional one!.

  BE CAREFUL! Even if you make an appointment online, you could possibly still be turned away! I went to this planned parenthood yesterday for my appointment, come to find out, my appointment was not on the system and I was told the “online schedule can be wacky” So because of their system fault, I couldn’t get my appointment which I NEEDED and now I have to wait until MONDAY! How ridiculous! I still can’t believe they just turned me and away and couldn’t so a damn thing for me but make another appointment! NEVER SCHEDULE ONLINE! ITS!NOT!DEPENDENT!!!
