I was booked in, deposit paid for my procedure and 2 weeks out, yes 2 weeks I was sent a WhatsApp saying that my procedure had been cancelled with zero explanation as to why. I asked what had happened and only then was I told that the clinic was closing but again, no further explanation. It has now been 2 weeks since I received this news and despite being promised my deposit of 2k would be returned within 5-10 days, I still haven’t received it nor have I had any form of formal letter of explanation. I have written to D Hopkins outlining EBS’s responsibilities to their customers and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am legally entitled to services carried out with reasonable care and skill and to fair redress when that standard is not met. Their continued failure to respond constitutes non-compliance with their contractual and statutory obligations. I have sent a follow up email outlining that they have failed to acknowledge this in any way whatsoever and am waiting on a response and also my deposit… An entirely unprofessional, shady company that everyone in their right mind should stick well clear of as this could also happen to you
