  I really do hate to leave a bad review on an often unreasonably hated company, however my experience today was terrible. I waited for over a month for my appointment. I work night shifts so I had to wake up early by my standards to drive over an hour to the clinic, only to find out it is closed. Despite being able to send repeated appointment reminders they were seemingly incapable of notifying me that the clinic was closed so said appointment did not exist anymore. Now I have to wait nearly an additional month for my HRT on top of the inconvenience.

  I felt very dismissed, I usually go to the Chico PP but they had no availability. They were very rude trying to get my symptoms,I had called ahead to ask if they offer the treatment needed, was told yes. No exams no tests or anything, didn’t even listen to my concerns at all. If you can go to another center I highly recommend doing so.

  Recently made an appointment for some birth control at the Redding, CA location. There’s a lot of bad press about Plan Parenthood. That said, my experience was really great. I only had to wait a few weeks for my appointment. I am without health insurance at the moment and my doctor would have had to charge me $800 dollars for the method of birth control I selected. I paid nothing out of pocket at plan parenthood based off my family size and income. That was really needed for me and my family right now. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I had to have a minor procedure during my appointment and they made sure I knew what was happening every single step of the way. They offered extra support if I so needed and just generally made me feel safe. I appreciate the staff and the experience I had. Thank you to the staff at the Redding location. I would send anyone I know here.

  Absolutely terrible experience with this place. I have visited this place quite a few times before and I really liked my previous provider Blaken Geisel. This time around my visit was the worst nightmare that left me feel like a trash. When I called to schedule my appointment I’ve been told the wait time is close to 2 months. A few days before my appointment they called from the office asking to reschedule as my provider won’t be at work that day. I waited another two weeks for them to only tell me that they refuse to do my Pap smear because I had one only 2 years ago. They let me to come to my appointment which is one hour drive (each way) for me to tell me that!!! I have talked to someone who I assume was my new provider as I’ve never seen this person before. She didn’t introduce herself but since I’ve been told this place has only one provider now, I assume it was Mallory Bradley. She told me she won’t proceed with the examination because there’s no indication in my health history that I needed one. She didn’t ask any questions about my current health status. Last time I had not only the Pap smear testing done but also breast exam and other testing. None of that was offered to me. I used to think highly about this place but not anymore, not after my last visit. Needless to say this place was empty, there wasn’t a single patient in the waiting room. I am done with Planned Parenthood/Health Center on Bechelli Ln in Redding! 👎
