  We've been working with Nevino and Angelica for several years now. Angelica truly has a gift for finding exceptional caregivers. After a short meeting with my mother (who has dementia), she understood her needs well and worked hard to find suitable caregivers. Both Nevino and Angelica were motivated to help us get our needs met, and proposed good solutions. We have been able to find an amicable arrangement on several iterations of caregivers at this point. Sometimes communication is slow because they are really busy, but my sisters and I stick with them because they hire really good caregivers and they are good people who care, both for their caregivers and their clients.

  We scheduled care service with Homewatch CareGivers of Pasadena, CA, twice. Both times the verbal and written communication was either lacking or completely non existent. Honestly, quite scary. The first scheduled care person ended up at the wrong client’s house. Later, when the agency contacted her, she was provided inaccurate and incomplete info on me. With no unit number, wrong phone number and no last name, how was she expected to contact me. Luckily, the care person was resilient. Also, it turned out that the care person scheduled for my second 3-day week care was notified at the very last minute from this agency! In my opinion, this agency does not appear to be professionally administered. For “me,” I do not expect the office staff to communicate effectively and efficiently in the future, or apply HIPPA safe practices. I will not use again. Pros: Both care persons, however, were awesome; they were very personable, clean, and performed their duties exceptionally well.
