Absolutely amazing and speedy service! My old frames broke this morning and I frantically called every eye doc in the area to see the cost and turn around for putting lenses into an old pair of sunglasses. Most places cost the same and took 7-10 days! When I called site for sore eyes, Miriam was super helpful, letting me know the cost ($139) and that the frames could be made in a few hours. I went in near close thinking I would be picking them up the next day but they had me in and out in 30ish mins. Definitely go here, great customer service and speedy turn around.

My experience is always pleasant with optimal treatment and care. Michelle is my go to and can be found in Berkeley as well. I’ve experienced excellent care at the Pleasant Hill site though that was over ten years ago. My glasses have held up well and only need lens replaced. Every employee has treated me with care, consideration, and are personable. Thank you Michelle, Dr. Taylor, Monica, and everyone who’ve assisted.

This is the type of place where if I could give negative stars, I would. A few years ago they messed up my order after pushing me to get the expensive glasses because they said, I ride a motorcycle and these were safer. Then they would not fix the issue so I paid more money and they made cheaper lenses (because it was on them 50/50). Then the alternative frames I gave them, they broke. The manager or owner guy instead of apologizing, with the NASTY negative attitude condescendingly said his technician broke the frames because they are cheap. He was referring to the frames not his business, but it makes you think. Those frames were titanium and cost hundreds of dollars. What would he know? You can tell employees do not want to work there for this unethical person. It is the perfect scenario for a small claims court lawsuit. But I had enough of their Mickey Mouse cash trap and do not want to see them ever again.

The Dr.’s that provided eye exams both times 6/16 & 9/17 were great! Thus the 1 star. However the sales practices are unethical. The sales associate choose not to disclose that they are a level 1 provider with VSP insurance and elected to advise my benefits were only
$5 - $10 difference for either contacts or glasses. I elected to get contacts. I then purchased frames online and happily returned for lenses and was charged $290.00. A little confused I went home and called VSP. I was advised with a in network provider my lenses would have been fully covered and I have a frame allowance and that I could have purchased contacts for about 60.00. That’s not all they upsold me progressive lenses +$100 and I’m nearsided. The glasses cause my vision to see-saw when I look left to right? Feels like my vertigo may kick in! I called to asked what type of lenses they put in my glasses and was told “progressive” and that it was MY choice. I was dumbfounded aren’t they suppose to use the eye exam results to provide the necessary lenses? l did now what a progressive lens was until I had them and couldn’t see straight. The associate said they will order single vision lenses and put them in when they arrive and get this “give me a store credit for the obvious $100+ up charge”. I requested a refund. I Was told that was highly unlikely but she will check with the individual authorized to make that decision. Why would I ever go back there? The saga apparently has just begun. Sad to say you can’t trust their evaluation of your vision Benifits. Call your vision plan provider and patronize a preferred provider before you out $100’s of dollars like me. #beware!
