They also have a doctor on site and you can get glasses same day (if they’re not too slammed). They also feel transparent and honest on pricing, so I’m more comfortable giving them my business and supporting a family owned shop.

The pair I got from Site for Sore Eyes had un-beveled lens edges that actually cut into my skin and caused bruising with regular use. I’ve never had glasses do this before. Despite paying over $500, these didn’t even last a year before I had to get a replacement elsewhere. I won’t be coming back. I’d recommend checking the lens finish carefully before purchasing, as mine was uncomfortable from day one.

The service and help regarding frame and lens selection was excellent and most importantly I wasn’t pushed towards making an immediate buying decision or talked into upgrades. I felt like I am in full control. So I was happy to come back and submit my order for new glasses.
